This hotel is in a great location in Oban but the building is old and the rooms are quite ordinary for the price. The bathroom was very small. We were on the top floor and it was very hard to get our bags up and down the stairs as the staircase was steep and narrow. The staff however were lovely and we did a whisky tasting in the bar. There is no onsite parking, you have to park in a nearby Council carpark.

Great location and amazing staff. Just be prepared to park offsite and carry luggage up stairs. Other than that, the place had an amazing location and we had zero issues with sounds being right above a pub.

Our experience was fabulous from beginning to end. We were able to check in on arrival, and the staff always offer to carry your bags. Property is in a perfect location and we adored the town. Parking is not free but it is reasonably priced and very convenient with the lot being across the street. Wonderful staff! Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed our stay would highly recommend! Quiet to be right in the heart (well maybe around the corner) of town. Convenient parking. Room was nicely decorated with big comfortable bed. Really enjoyed our tasting and chatting with Christopher! Winding stair not easy to lug luggage up but we had multiple offers to assist. The bagged breakfast was appreciated as was the lack of waste by just leaving what you didn’t want by room or on counter downstairs. While the room itself was a bit bigger than expected bathroom was a bit narrow and somewhat dark.

Our party included two couples in separate rooms. One room was comfortably sized, the other rather small including the bathroom space. Condition was good for an older property.
