Arrived at the Corriemar for a 2 day stay and the location is great. Room was spotless and newly decorated with great views over the estuary. Would definitely stay here again. Weather was awful on arrival but great the following day. However a storm was due to hit the following day so we decided to leave early which was disappointing.

Good quality accommodation, clean and modern room with tea/coffee and instant porridge pot. Parking could be a problem with 4 double bay spaces but thankfully not on this visit. Whisky in the room, nice little touch and generous amount in decanter. Had a wee drams. Thank you.

I booked a junior suite. When I arrived I found an envelope with key for a standard double room with a VERY small bathroom. There is no reception and owner did not answer phone. I sent an e mail and was told this was a "better room". I said this was not acceptable and asked for refund of the difference in rate. Was told they are same price. Which is clearly a lie.

Lovely location. Room small but fine and we knew that. Easy check in,some trouble with setting up WiFi, instructions could be clearer Fine with no breakfast as we knew that. Would have been nice to have a bit of proper milk in the fridge Overall a great stay

La casa è molto graziosa, la posizione suggestiva, la camera è comoda. Purtroppo per 2 giorni non ci sono stati cambiati gli asciugamani nonostante li avessimo lasciati nelle posizioni indicate per il cambio. Il secondo giorno per maggiore chiarezza li abbiamo lasciati a terra ed è successa una cosa sconcertante : li abbiamo trovati (sempre quelli usati e sporchi) accuratamente ripiegati e posati SUL PAVIMENTO DEL BAGNO. Solo dopo una forte protesta con la proprietaria ci sono stati forniti quelli puliti. Naturalmente il fatto di avere ripiegato e posizionato sul pavimento gli asciugamani per gli ospiti è un fatto particolarmente sgradevole perché si spiega solo con la volontà di creare un disagio logistico ma anche relazionale, e quindi è per me inaccettabile in una struttura preposta al comfort ed all'accoglienza. Altre piccole ma significative negligenze sono state da noi rilevate. Peccato cari proprietari, dovete essere più attenti ed effettuare controlli sull'operato di chi si occupa delle camere.

My brother and I had such a lovely stay! We took the train down from Glasgow with just our backpacks. It was about a 20 min. Brisk walk from the station to Corriemar. The housekeeper happened to be there when we arrived - we were several hours before check-in - and she helped us store our bags so we could explore the town. It was simple to check-in. The room was delightful. So clean and cosy! We had a very comfortable two nights. There was a lovely selection of treats with coffee and tea in the room that we enjoyed. All-in-all, it was such a delightful stay!

Perfect location for oban. Dont pick small room if your in couple...too small. Lovely view of bayfrom some rooms and lounge No breakfast available. Lovely house with lovely host. Everything clean and well kempt. Car parking on site Got there early and host gave us access to room which was a bonus

We really enjoyed our stay here - a very clean & comfortable place, with ample parking and short walk along the seafront to town. There are lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The room was serviced daily and we appreciated the provision of breakfast goodies and little extras. There is a welcoming entranceway and the tastefully decorated lounge overlooks the ocean and esplanade - a great place to watch the sunsets. We highly recommend.

We have stayed in Corriemar Guest House probably more than a dozen times now and we have always stayed in Room No 6 on the first floor with large bay windows overlooking the bay. The room is so spacious with 4 armchairs we love sitting by the window in the evening watching the sun set. To us this makes up for the small shower room. A fridge is also provided now which is also very handy. This is the first year we have been here that no breakfast has been provided but it wasn't a problem as we walked into town each morning at our leisure and had breakfast at Roxys (not Tiffanys!) which we found was very good with a big choice on the menu. If we return to Oban again we will return to this room without any hesitation.
