Room No 4 is a good room with a fair view of the sea. However despite leaving a "Please make up the room" sign in the morning, the room was not serviced. So no breakfast (which is only a porridge in a pot!), nor clean towels etc. Very disappointing! We advised a lady, mother of the owner, about a broken window lock and the very slow shower drain. The broken window lock was repaired, but nothing else. We think that £178 per night for 2 nights was excessive bearing in mind the lack of service.

Beautiful building and location. Our room was very comfortable and had all we needed. Based on the third floor, you do need to be prepared for stairs but in my view the amenities and quality made it worth it. Great location in Oban, only a quick walk to the town centre or Dunlollie Castle.

We made a last minute decision to stay in Oban and were lucky to get room 6. King size with ocean view on the first floor. We enjoyed sitting in the wing chairs looking over the harbour. The small fridge and porridge tubs were an unexpected bonus. For the fit person, it is only a short easy walk into town. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic long weekend at the Corriemar in Oban. our room (number 6) was absolutely stunning with the most incredible bay window looking over the water. Check in was a breeze- just pick your keys up at reception. The room was large and had tea and coffee facilities with porridge pots for breakfast. There was a hair dryer and iron facilities. the bathroom was on the small side but practical enough. We met staff various times across the weekend and they were always very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Lovely sized twin room. Very comfortable beds..had a couple of great nights sleep! Simple and satisfying breakfast cereal pot and milk, breakfasts and cups were cleaned and restocked every day. Very easy to walk into Oban town center. Overall a very good place to stay.

Really lovely Victorian guest house on the sea front a short walk to the centre. The view from our front room top floor was amazing.

I was surprised and disappointed that no one was at the property to greet us. We found by chance an envelope with our key in. The room was a good size with comfortable beds. We bumped into the host by chance who made it obvious she did not want to interact with us. No one there when we left. Just a basket to put the key into.

The lady who came to the door to offer help was great. The room was quiet and comfortable. However, one of the towels was mildewed, and the window had a unique closing mechanism which required tinkering to make it function. Overall, i would say "adequate ".
