Lochaline Hotel

The Lochaline hotel is great ! It is run by a couple who are very welcoming. The location by the sea loch is amazing. Our room was delightful with beautiful sea views. A very comfy bed so we had a good nights sleep. They offer meals to residents which we found tasty. They also have a good selection of beers and wines. Breakfast is good with a lot of choice. The coffee machine was great so was the banana bread ! The Morven peninsula is worth visiting. We saw otters and porpoises nearby. There is a distillery to visit and lots of walks.

Great place to stay Friendly warm welcome to this lovely hotel. Still awaiting the finishing touches to the refurb, this is going to be fantastic when finished. The food was delicious and it was lovely to have a little swim off the beach in front. We will be back again.

Five night cycling and walking break. Warm welcome from Shaley and Peter. Comfortable room. The hotel is in new ownership and has undergone a huge amount of refurbishment. Breakfast was adequate as was evening dinner from a limited menu. Hotel in a quiet location with stunning views.

If I could have taken the Skye room and the view home with me I would have !!! It was absolutely 💯 perfect . Everything about the hotel is perfect ..the room the breakfast and the dinner we had were delightful, I didn't want to leave . Stunning location and the hosts were so welcoming and helpful 😊

A pleasant stay in a lovely location which was spoilt by a very poor breakfast. Room very clean and comfortable with well appointed ensuite. Breakfast let this venue down. The choice was limited especially for the cooked breakfast items. Considering that this hotel is situated in the Highlands of Scotland there were know of the foods that you would expect for a Scottish breakfast eg black pudding, mushrooms and tomatoes. There was also only a choice of one breakfast juice. The quality of the cooked ingredients was of a poor quality eg streaky bacon and it was served on a cold plate. We also waited 45 minutes between ordering and being served. Tables were not set for the guests; we had to collect our own cutlery, crockery and make our own drinks and toast. The bread was left out in original packaging and there was no other choice apart from bread no croissant etc. There was home made banana bread but I did think this a normal breakfast item. For the price charged. the breakfast certainly meant that this was not good value for money.
