What a lovely one-night stay at No.26 By The Sea! Our room was cosy, charming, and tastefully decorated, with a large and beautiful bathroom. Breakfast at the property was absolutely fantastic. The lady owner was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect for visiting Oban—set in a quiet residential area right on the waterfront, yet still within walking distance to the town centre and restaurants. The hotel also has its own small parking area right out front, which was very convenient. Overall, this place is defined by its charm and attention to detail. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer and explore more of Oban and the surrounding area. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oban.

The welcome was warm and the staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are cosy and a lot of thought has gone into equipping them with all that is needed for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal: a 10-minute walk from the town centre and quayside and at the more peaceful end of the esplanade. We were lucky to watch a spectacular sunset from the war memorial 2 minutes away. Whatever the weather, the views from the hotel are wonderful. The breakfast was top-notch and the pre-breakfast basket of juice and pastry delivered to the room was an unexpected treat.

This was our favorite hotel in all of Scotland! We arrived early due to rain impacting our plans and they accommodated us right away, welcoming us with a glass of sparkling wine and time to enjoy their common area. Check in was smooth and the manager was so nice. The location is a short walk from downtown, but far enough away to keep the super busy parts away from our window. The view was fantastic and the breakfast was a real highlight. Best breakfast we've had in a long time - anywhere. An incredible chef with a great menu. If we return to Obin, we will definitely book here.

What a wonderful experience to park and walk to the harbor. The staff was so great and attentive , room was amazing and comfortable. We had to leave early our 1st morning to get to the ferry and forgot to pick up our packed breakfast snacks before going to bed. To our surprise the early morning g hours the staff had delivered to our room door for us to grab. Also 2nd morning we learned that the breakfast “appetizer” sweet rolls, were delivered warm from the oven. Oh and I cannot forget upon our arrival we were treated with a glass of sparkling! We picked this hotel to be able to park in their lot and walk, but also if the weather had been good, they have a beautiful outdoor sitting area.

Friendly and exemplary service…nothing was too much trouble with our dogs even more welcome than us! Also extremely comfortable with a breakfast to match. Best of all, the position is magical especially in the Scottish sunshine.

What a lovely stay we had for the 1st few nights of our vacation in Scotland. We chose Oban (the "seafood capital" of Scotland) for our 1st stop in the Highlands and this lovely B&B looked like a great place to start our journey. The people are warm and welcoming and our room was a comfort after a long journey with a bed that was like sleeping on a feather ~ I slept for 12 hours straight and barely made breakfast. We had a car and were able to park in their lot with no problem. Breakfast was delightful and gave us a great start to our day. We were sad to leave!

Nice place overlooking the sea/harbour small number of rooms is my preference as well , the room we had was pretty small on top floor but moved the next day to slightly larger room , decor is nice but it now needs a refresh as paint work/furniture etc is getting tired and tatty , as well as bathroom furniture ,so for a 5 star rating this needs to be on point and not quite there at the moment , will not take much but it is needing it ,breakfast first day was excellent , not so second morning as both party eggs were overcooked . Rooms possibly need air con in summer if the warmer climate continues as it was unbearable to sleep , overall ok stay and the lady at desk was an excellent host ,faultless host

Excellent hotel, and amenities. Really friendly and helpful staff.We stayed both before and after a 3 day trip to Mull, and were very impressed, thoroughly recommend.
