Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is in an excellent location, we were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our very comfortable room , nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We booked an evening meal which was really excellent, enjoyed a great nights sleep and then had a really good breakfast
Thank you all at the Buckinghamshire hotel for making our stay really enjoyable
JJadeThe room and bathroom were clean and well kept. The decor is a bit dated but for the price it’s incredibly good value. Very near both the train station and football ground. The staff kindly allowed me a late check out and looked after my luggage when I went out for the day.
GGuest UserI stayed here when I was on a business trip in Norwich. The environment is great. It's just a manor hotel. The facilities are too old. The floor is creaky. The facilities in the room are very old. The third and fourth tier hotels in China are better than this. If you are a pretentious person, forget it. The environment is still very good. The air is very fresh. The breakfast is also OK. Anyway, it's just an ordinary British meal.
WWai YeeThe location is very good. It near bus stop going to city center, near retail park with supermarket like Morrison, near restaurants such as Yellows. The housekeeping staff and receptionist are very helpful and friendly. The bed sheet is clean and the mattress is comfortable. They make me have a good sleep at night.
SSaman DurraniReally enjoyed our relaxing spa break break. Spa was available from 6am till 10pm with no pre booking which was superb. Building was clean, the young receptionist was ever so smiley and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the lounge bar was great. Garden area were beautiful, golf course was nice. Highly to
AAMAingeA lovely hotel, across from river moorings, and in a peaceful setting. The Staff were very helpful, even carrying my case up the quirky staircase. The room was clean, with good decor, and facilities. The en-suite had a bath and shower, which was a bonus. The only downside was limited plug sockets, but it was a minor issue.
The hotel itself is welcoming, with some low doorways and corridors, adding to the original features. And despite a mix of old/new decor as they continue to make improvements, it had a very relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfast was lovely, well-cooked with lots of flavour (great bacon and sausage!) We didn't use the bar, outdoor seating or garden, but the Kids Play area looked fun!
GGuest UserOnly a one night stay, very modern room . Bathroom clean very poor. Black hair on the floor, cob webs above shower. Towel rail dirty . Toilet brush needs replacing.
Very hot room facing to the sun, although fan provided too hot to sleep. Not offered an alternative. No explanation regarding breakfast set up and what to do.
Good continental breakfast selection.
Person that answered the phone day before said hello . Needs training.
GGuest UserVery close to the train station, 2 minutes away, very convenient; Put down your luggage, you can walk along the river, go to the Riverside, go on the left hand side of the door, walk while watching,... you can go to Football, then walk back along the road, different scenery, there are many interesting restaurants in the middle, many people dine and play... and then go to the train station ...
HHera HoltA potentially lovely little serviced accommodation. Superficially tidy but everything a bit tired and grubby. No hairdryer, stale refillable bottles of toiletries, crusty bits around the taps etc. It is so close to being gorgeous; it just needs a bit of love! The noise from the pub over the road was pretty bad but that’s to be expected during graduation weekend. The concierge at the desk was very pleasant and I feel bad giving this review but it is honest.
ZZara MonicaBooked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.
