I was pleasantly surprised by the Marlborough Hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Snowy white linens and towels, which I always appreciate. I did have a bath and the water was lovely and hot. Breakfast was Continental, you could make your own toast, there were cheeses, jams, marmalade, fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals and a wide range of teas and coffees to choose from. The coffee was particularly good. The hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The other members of staff were very polite and courteous. This is the ideal place to use as a base to explore the lovely city of Norwich. The hotel is such good value for money and I would definitely stay there again if I was n the area.

Was a lovely clean very comfortable room would definitely stay again minimal breakfast as kitchen was closed so paye for breakfast at the hotel as cheaper than on line...every penny counts 😁

I have been twice to the hotel the double room with shower is ok and the service at breakfast is nice that visit went well. however the second visit, the single room has no bathroom or toilet and the shared one was dirty, it was so noisy overnight the staff were talking at 2am then so noisy all night, I was in the single room and the double room man next to me I could hear him snoring and speaking as if he was in my room. I won't be back.
Nobody to greet on arrival at 9pm and nobody to speak to at 7am on leaving.

It was fine, there was a really funny smell in the bathroom. Room was ok, pretty basic, bed was ok but very creaky, the mattress was comfortable though.

We arrived to a very warm welcome and a super clean bedroom and bathroom. The reception manager gave us a lovely tip for a walk along the river to the Cathedral too!

Clean and comfortable hotel. I arrived by train and had to catch an early one the next morning.
It's in an ideal location for the station 🚉
