Best in Show! Thank you team Bird in Hand. Pristine, large , quiet room, friendly efficient staff, delicious breakfast, good quality coffee, with refills, easy parking and very near Norwich. No problem checking in or checking out all very straightforward. Just what I was after, and more. Thank you.

Nice place in a lovely area. The room was huge and bed very comfortable, and the pub itself had great food. Really nice breakfast too. You can go for nice walks from the door too.

Very enjoyable stay Enjoyed an overnight visit and had a fabulous evening meal and a great breakfast. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will be stopping here again.

What a gem this is in the middle of nowhere! The staff are so welcoming and friendly, the pub is a delight and the accommodation first class. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.We enjoyed an evening meal which in our option was 5* and the breakfast menu was varied and was of excellent quality. Would we rebook? Absolutely yes!

Needed somewhere local that was disable friendly to stay for a night prior to a workshop tour at Classic Team Lotus, so researched and found this, only 1.5 miles away. From the moment we arrived, staff were always smiling and attentive to us, helping me navigate the doors for my wheelchair to our room. It has to be one of the best disabled friendly and equipped rooms I have ever stayed at, with everything easily accessible. Despite having not made a prior restaurant booking, they were also able to include us for a lovely evening meal, even though it was busy with Friday night custom. Of particular interest for me was the amount of Lotus F1 and motorsport memorabilia and artwork decorating the walls, much of it limited edition pieces by artist Alan Stammers. Breakfast was superb and filling for the day ahead, and I appreciated items being substituted for those on the Full English that I chose not to want. Everything was very tasty and well presented. Last amazing moment we didn't expect was when one of the staff offered to carry our weekend bag to the car. Establishments charging a lot more haven't offered this level of help! In short, a place I can happily recommend, so long as you are not in the disabled room when I next want it!!!!!!!
