I stayed at The George Hotel in Norwich for a quick overnight stop and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Although I booked a super cheap deal for a single room, I was given a double room which was warm and comfortable. The location is easy to reach and it's about a 15 minute walk to the big shopping area in Norwich. The hotel staff were really attentive and friendly during check in and check out, they certainly made me feel very welcome and I wouldn't mind staying at The George Hotel again. They have an onsite restaurant called The Arlington Bistro which I would like to try as I didn't have a meal there during my stay. In summary, I can definitely recommend this nice, friendly hotel for everyone.

The room is very small and the soundproofing is poor. You can hear the tap in the next room. The breakfast is the least I have ever stayed in a hotel. There is almost nothing to eat. You have to pay for a cup of coffee for breakfast. The rooms are upstairs and you have to carry your suitcase. It is very inconvenient.

Nice room, a bit small if you travel with a lot of bags. The staff is nice, friendly, and easy to talk with, hotel vibe is fine, a nice small bar and restaurant located in the hotel.
