Bad review! Bad review! The cleaners came to clean while we were taking a nap. We asked them to wait a while but they refused. As a result, we woke up in the middle of the night and stood on the balcony with my son waiting for them to finish cleaning the room. The day before we left, when they came in to clean, they saw my son burning something on the stove and leaving the door wide open. As a result, the things got burnt and the smoke ran into the corridor, triggering the smoke alarm. The fire department was dispatched and the entire building was evacuated. They didn’t tell me about it that day. The next morning, when we were rushing to the airport, they said we had to pay compensation of 1,600 Australian dollars. At the time, I thought it was my son’s fault that the things were burnt, so I paid it. But later I found out that the hotel check-in guide clearly stated that when there is smoke in the room, you must not open the room door, otherwise it will trigger the smoke alarm. The door of this room was clearly opened by the cleaner, and now the hotel refuses to admit it
