Holiday Inn Express Hotels in North Jakarta

Clean as with all IHG chains Rubbish place because they charge US$3 for a bucket of ice. I requested for a cup of ice as there were no refrigerators in the room. Turns out, they forgot to put a fridge in my room. In return, instead of apologising and giving me the cup of ice, they said they don’t provide ice cubes but I can buy a bucket for US$3 each time. Hello? I don’t need a bucket of ice. I need a cup of cold water because you didn’t provide a refrigerator?? Hotel refuse to budge, maybe it was a rubbish policy. Location wise, behind JIexpo. A bit out of the way from most food/mall.

Regarding my recent stay at Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Pluit, I have made a feedback to the hotel manager regarding breach of personal information. The front desk staff have used recycled passport copy as copier paper. You may see from the photo attached below, some other guest’s passport information was in my hand. This situation is very uncomfortable and I could not imagine such sensitive information is being shared casually. The manager on duty (18/03) told me she has been reminding the staffs not to use such recycle information, but it seem the reminders are not effective.
