Our stay at the Spark Norfolk was great for a quick overnight stay. The room itself and the common areas were clean and well maintained. Breakfast offerings at this lower cost Hilton property consisted of cereals, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, prepackaged muffins and fruit. We would definitely stay here again on our next time through.

Pros Near Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Sentara Hospital, Airport Clean Ok Continental Breakfast AC/Heat Work Hot Water Cons All staff, except the cleaning crew, were rude from front desk to breakfast person. I was told to leave breakfast area because I was 5 min early??? No fridge in room No coffee maker in room Snacks are pricy I would have rated this a 5 for the price, but the staff ruined it for me. They acted like they'd rather be anywhere other than at their job.

Nice place. Close to Airport. We needed a quick stay here since we flew in late. I thought it was clean and very nicely priced. The room had a lot of space and the check in process was simple. The bagel bar is simple and does the job. We would def stay here again.

The stay was short but good. Service would have been an excellent if it had not been for the lady working the front desk for morning check out, the young lady who checked us in was very nice and professional but I had 2 encounters with the one lady that was rude the first time was before my initial checkin ;we arrived early due to driving all night so we stopped in to make sure we were at the correct hotel and check our reservation she didn’t let me ask anything she just rudely said you can’t check in now and I proceeded to tell her I just want to confirm my reservation she said check in is 4 come back then but when we came back to check in thankfully there was a nice young lady to check us in and tell us a little about Norfolk since we had never been there so other than that we had a great stay waiting on our cruise

I was sorely disappointed to learn that despite the claim on the website, a shuttle to the airport was not, in fact, available.
I was also disappointed to learn that there was no designated area to exercise.
Both of these facts will prevent me from booking here in the future.

Can’t wait to stay again!
If I could have snuck the mattress out and into my car, I would’ve. It was that comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the young woman who was on the late evening shift.
The breakfast is “continental”, but there were still plenty of options. There is a coffee station in the lobby, available 24/7.
The room was immaculate, and the shower/tub combo was pristine.
We’re already making plans to stay again.
The only 2 negatives are that because they aren’t on the main street of town, there aren’t many food options. But, there are plenty one block over.
The other thing is that you can’t turn left into the property-NOT THEIR FAULT. You just have to make a u-turn just a few buildings down.
And you can’t beat the price!
