Good, authentic Japanese, communal bathing, good onsen, feels like staying at a Japanese home. And the price is not too expensive for the Niseko area. Rent a car and park for free. The only complaint is that there is no wifi to use. The rest is good.

This is the most memorable hot spring I've been to recently. The beautiful scenery around the mountain cabin, the simple nature of the open-air bath, and the quiet mountain atmosphere were all the best. The breakfast is simple and the management is elderly, so the cleaning is not good. There are no places to eat nearby and the only stores available are snacks, so you have to order or have dinner in advance.
