This hotel is the first time to live, the aesthetic is long in our heart, the scenery is beautiful, the view is small. The hotel room is also very good, the hotel service is very intimate and humane. I really love this kind of Wabi-jiu B&B. The design of the B&B is completely beautiful. Especially the design of the lobby and the bathroom completely captured my heart. It is already a template for my decoration of the house. The proprietress is really super nice and very gentle. Sister, this homestay is very suitable for a private house with friends, staying in the kitchen, and you can also use everyone to cook and eat. The quality of the rooms is great. It is not lost in a five-star hotel and the room with a good view can also lie down and watch the sunrise. But I Didn't live until next time I want to bring my parents to the nearby attractions. The air is really good and the environment is great.

The proprietress is so kind, she helped us make breakfast early in the morning and personally drove us to Xuedou Temple. At noon, she also sent the luggage to the mountain to drive us to the car. What kind of fairy boss is this! The room is clean and hygienic! The sun is shining in the yard in the morning, simple, quiet and peaceful, soaking in a pot of tea, it feels very pleasant! Physical and mental relaxation, very recommended! I wish business prosperity!

The room is large and the view is wide, and you can see the golden dome of Xuedou Mountain from afar. The old sweet-scented osmanthus trees all over the mountains, and they stand there casually with a lot of fragrance. The village is very, very clean, there is no noisy sound, and sleep is very quiet. A treasure homestay in Xuedou Mountain, Ningbo, worth recommending. It feels like home after a trip. The flowers and plants in the yard are in full bloom. It is very pleasant to relax in the recliner while looking at the green mountains and white clouds. The bedding is clean and comfortable, the food is delicious, and the proprietress is also very attentive to the guests. I stayed for two nights and still felt satisfied.

The restaurant tastes very good, I recommend three dishes, definitely not a pitfall. There is a ski resort nearby, the fees are a bit high, the management is a bit messy, but fortunately I had a lot of fun.

Taking advantage of the holiday, I was able to walk around. It took almost half an hour to go from the mountain to the mountain. The mountains were lush and the vegetation was lush along the way. What made me unforgettable was the warm-hearted service of the hotel, the little butler. Jiang's special warm hospitality❤️ not only took us to the room, but also gave us a warm farewell when we checked out. He also gave us souvenirs and patiently collected our opinions or suggestions, which added a touch of warmth to our trip and gave us the opportunity. I will definitely come again and see Shangshangang again to experience the different travel experiences that different seasons bring me! ! 👍🏻👍🏻

The hotel next to Zhejiang Buddhist College is clean and hygienic with warm service. The hotel has its own restaurant, which provides lunch and dinner a la carte service in addition to hotel breakfast.
The car was parked on the roadside at the main entrance of the Buddhist College. There is a studio and a small bridge when you walk in. The furnishings are simple and refreshing. There are barefoot floors and tea sets. But there is no TV, so choose carefully if you are mainly interested in entertainment.
The location is very good. It takes a quarter of an hour to walk to the tourist center. You can take a bus to Xuedou Mountain from the tourist center, and opposite the tourist center is the Maitreya Altar, a newly built attraction.
It takes about 10 to 20 minutes to drive to the town for dinner or to the former residence of Jiang.

GGuest UserThis hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas.
1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes.
2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale
3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days .
4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced .
5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby.
6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use .
7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes .
8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees.
9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion!
10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking .
For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those .
The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

SScarletTheWandererNew Century Resort Jiulong Lake exceeded all my expectations and provided a truly enjoyable stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, going out of their way to be helpful and offering valuable tips on things to do in the area. 包智慧 was especially kind and helpful! The room I stayed in had a beautiful view of the water, giving it a tropical vibe. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of delicious options, and the resort was very family-friendly.
While it was a shame that the outdoor pool was only open in July and August, the indoor pool and hot tub were still great. The resort's proximity to the Scenic Area allowed for a day of exploration, with hiking trails leading to waterfalls and a lovely temple. The resort was surrounded by lush trees, creating a serene atmosphere that I highly recommend.
The option to rent bikes and participate in various activities added to the enjoyment of the stay. I particularly appreciated the pleasant bonfire evenings with music, which provided a nice touch without being too loud. Overall, I highly recommend New Century Resort Jiulong Lake as a place to relax and unwind. It's conveniently located just a 45-minute taxi ride from the Ningbo train station.

EExploringJummieJust a leisure two days trip.. The hotel was well located close to the Meishan beach Park, the port museum and the ice and snow world - walkable distance. The staffs (especially front desks) are quite nice, always willing to help, and ready to give a cookie on request (highlight of my trip).. They had a huge variety of tasty breakfast options for locals and international.. Only issue was the squeaky cupboards in the rooms.. Oh... They have a gym and swimming pool (in-use, which is great post-covid) ..

The location is near barstreet where a Irish ☘️ Pub is located. A little bit hidden in the background. There we always have nice breakfasts and some dinner.

the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue
during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option.
I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel.
the play are for kids is nice and the staff are generally friendly and patient.

GGuest UserTop in terms of location, facilities, staff friendliness and room standards. Zero stars for the quality of the dining experience, I'm afraid. Mediocre local dishes hopelessly overpriced and way below average by Ningbonese standards. Could have gone to Hanling village down the road or a bit further into Yinzhou for the same or similar dishes at a tenth of the price (and better quality). We felt it was quite an insult and if it hadn't been rather late and we hadn't been starving, we would have gotten up again and jumped in a Didi. My workplace canteen offers similar local dishes at less than 10 kuai/dish (ok, not a valid comparison, I must admit, but even the most expensive local restos don't charge more than 50 kuai either and provide bigger size portions and tastier). The portions were tiny and starters were priced on average at 100+ kuai while the mains, the size of starters, were on average 220+ kuai. Hardly reasonable for some seasonal veggies and 10 tiny rubbery beef cubes. The white wine hadn't been cooled (happens all the time but kinda unexpected if you pay 4,000 kuai a night for a resort in one of Ningbo's prime locations) and it was a cheap bottle priced at nearly 80 kuai a glass. Having stayed in a variety of luxury lakeside venues across Zhejiang over the years, we were pretty taken aback. For me it was the worst value for money food experience during my entire time in China. We loved our suite, the fitness facilities as well as the architecture of the entire resort though. The service was pretty professional and friendly even though hardly anyone speaks English which is surprising given that this place is regularly frequented by non-Chinese speakers from the local areas nearby (and we saw plenty of those for lunch). Also, in comparison to similar properties across Ningbo and Zhejiang, the breakfast was the worst also. Never mind the continental and English style brekkies (sometimes difficult to get right, we get that), even the Chinese dishes were mediocre (such as the soups, fried items etc) which was surprising. Should we return (we practically live down the road), we'll not spend a single penny on food in this place.

KKSAREENNicely maintained hotel. The view is good. Have a lot of restaurants nearby. The gymnasium is good and has a lot of machines. Will surely recommend this hotel to anyone.

EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing. However great location, cross the river and you are in the mids of the city. Ernst , New Zealand
