As an old hotel, Kaiyuan Hotel's service is particularly commendable, and snacks and fruits are given in the hotel room! In addition, we didn't book breakfast on this trip. The front desk receptionist Xiao Zhang took the initiative to introduce the hotel breakfast and gave a free trial meal. He also reminded us of the traffic control of Ningbo Yongma the next day through WeChat. The service was very satisfactory! The attitude of other service staff was also great! The breakfast variety is very rich, with all kinds of tea, snacks, cakes, pancakes, fried dumplings, noodles, and everything is available, and the taste is very good! The hotel also has a swimming pool and a gym, recommended for business and family travel!

The hotel was very nice and close to a subway station. The room looked very nice and the bed was comfortable. I liked how the vanity mirror has a light. I didn’t like how although I had the “do not disturb” sign on my door, someone still came in to clean my room but also threw away a bag I wanted to keep. I was highly displeased about that. Other than that the stay was nice. I also liked how the check out time is at 4pm instead of noon.

The overall feeling of the three-star hotel is still good. There was a small spider on the quilt of a bed when entering the room, which I dealt with myself. The toilet did not produce much water and the flushing force was not enough. The corresponding disposable items were not delivered in time according to the number of people when multiple people checked in. The refrigerator was equipped but not connected to the power supply. It smelled bad when it was turned on. The front desk was quite enthusiastic when checking in, and the breakfast was quite rich, which was better than the general hotels of the same level.

I upgraded the room for free with my baby, and they helped me put in the crib. The room was spacious. The breakfast was also rich. The aunt in the laundry room took the initiative to help with the laundry and drying. When I was going out in the morning, she also helped me deliver the clothes to the room. I was very satisfied with the service.

The hotel is nice and room are spacious. The location is fine too. Breakfast is more Chinese stile oriented but there is a coffee machine and the coffee is fine. The only issue I had are bites all over my feet and legs by insects. I think it is due to the carpet floor both in the rooms and on each floor corridor.

The room is a retested suite, very large, clean and clean, barefoot walking is no problem. Location is very good, Staff very helpful, room suspicious and clean. Breakfast with variatives dish. They gave us porriedge at night, surprisingly. We recommended this hotel, and we will come back when we visit Ningbo.

We enjoyed one night at this hotel. Clean and simple. Wonderful breakfast in a compact dining area, many choices and a chef cooking fresh noodles and other Chinese breakfast staples. Well thought out with plates and chopsticks right in front when you enter. Best thing about this hotel is being able to walk across a bridge in one direction (e.g. to the east) then along the river front to Laowaitan restaurants and bars, then back via another bridge to the west of the hotel. A nice loop. Only surprise was that nearly all restaurants and bars were closed during Spring Festival, so we enjoyed a longer walk in cold rain, into the centre of the city to find a light dinner.

Very comfortable hotel with great rooms and in an excellent location. The decor is really nice and they even have a roof where you can chill out (no view from the roof though because of some walls!). The view from the room was beautiful though and the location was perfect. Just across the road from Tianyi Square, close to restaurants and even a couple of cafes. Would stay again!

Ningbo Second Stop🏨 Maybe the hotel at Dongqian Lake was too good, and the contrast was too strong, so this hotel was too ordinary overall... I thought that the new renovation of the old hotel would be good! I didn’t expect that although the new renovation was good, many places were not planned very well, especially the elevator, which was very weird! The wooden color of the door is too cheap... There are many differences in height between the corridor and the room floor, which makes it easy to trip... The designer really doesn't consider the guests... Fortunately, the room view is good, you can see the night view directly in the room, and the hotel is in an excellent location, which is also a big reason why I chose it, but other aspects are really not good, there is no service, but the delivery is quite fast... Although there is a swimming pool and a gym, they are outsourced and open to the public, and they don't look like hotel services, so I didn't go to experience them... I checked out early the next day. It's rare that a hotel lets me leave early. It seems that a one-star difference makes a big difference. I'll stay in a five-star hotel in the future! If you are just staying here, you can consider it since it is cheap. But if you are interested in the staying experience, you should choose other places. This place is not recommended! ❌
