Stay here during winter in beg of Jan'25
It was great included variety of dinner and breakfast.
Hotel have Onsen, (inside,outside) you can use during snow fall. They also have table tennis and relax rooms and you can enjoy activities with your family and couple too.

The lake is right at the door. The scenery is super beautiful. Breakfast and dinner are very delicious. It is rare to eat BUFFET but every dish is delicious.

Take the bus from Tobu Nikko and get off at Kokamae Station and walk for five minutes to the hotel. The room has a large view towards the lake, and the buffet is delicious and comes with free ramen as a midnight snack. There aren't too many people in the large bath, and there are both indoor and open-air baths, so it's overall pretty good. The only drawback is that the room has no bathroom and there is no convenience store nearby.

The hotel is OK, not as old as the comments say, I can still accept it. Get off at Yunopan Station, one stop before the Yumoto Onsen terminal. Stayed for two nights, dinner was buffet, the taste was OK, but there was no change for two nights, it was a bit monotonous if you stayed consecutively. There was free ramen supper in the evening, and the black sesame paste ramen was provided during my stay... After the baptism of the hotel's black sesame paste ramen and Nikko Station front soy milk ramen, I think I can eat any flavor of ramen.
