Best Nikko Hotels

The room and services are good, but the location is a bit far from the Nikko city center. Without a private vehicle, it will be challenging to travel to entertainment and dining spots. However, overall, it’s very good.

Very comfortable hotel experience, we stayed for two nights. This home is not central in the daylight, but not far from the main attractions. After booking, the hotel will send an email to inform you of the check-in details. Upon arrival at the Nikko Station, you will be picked up by car. Checkin first sent a drink, sparkling champagne and matcha are very good, and the 跪 service is very thoughtful. We chose two Western-style beds plus tatami. The name of the guest will be affixed to the door of the room. The two people sleep very much. The outside is a beautiful courtyard view. Each room has an independent hot spring. In fact, there are basically no people in the big bath. (Because the hotel rooms are not too much), they are basically exclusive. At the hotel, I tasted two Kaiseki dinners and breakfasts. The patterns were different and the roads were delicious. Each room was arranged in a small box and the privacy was very good. In the morning, there are milk and wheat tea in the hot springs. In the morning, I can go to the sights to play and there are cars that can be sent to the Toshogu Shrine. In the afternoon, I am tired and make a phone call. I immediately have a car to pick up the cards at the designated place. It is also very thoughtful. In short, it is definitely a good hotel that I would recommend to my friends.

What a remarkable experience! The inability to find words speaks volumes. Everything was flawless, meeting high Western standards. Additionally, we inadvertently left a sweater in the room as we continued to Tokyo. Upon contacting the hotel, the staff were immensely helpful in resolving the issue. They efficiently arranged for the sweater to be delivered to Tokyo, saving us considerable effort and allowing us to continue our journey peacefully. The service was exceptional, especially considering that the responsibility was entirely ours. Absolutely outstanding service..

It is a hotel with a historical atmosphere. If you are good at English and Japanese, you will experience more. It is very close to the Shinkyo Bridge. The hotel service responded promptly and the attitude was good. The well-received Western food is really good. The marbled steak tastes amazing. The Japanese red trout is not impressive at first, but I actually like it haha. In short, both sets are quite satisfactory. The breakfast is a simple carbohydrate satisfaction, and the butter is good. I give satisfaction points for both meals. The deluxe room is large and the equipment is relatively new. The bedding is soft and thick. There is no dissatisfaction with other things such as bathroom hot water, toiletries, air conditioning temperature, room odor, etc. I left the hotel to play and stored the gift. When I returned, I asked the hotel to help call a taxi. Due to the evening rush hour, I didn’t make an appointment for the car, but the hotel waiter kept trying to make a call. In the end, he was very sorry and gave the taxi company card for our subsequent use. In short, it is a recommended hotel to stay in Nikko.

The hotel is OK, not as old as the comments say, I can still accept it. Get off at Yunopan Station, one stop before the Yumoto Onsen terminal. Stayed for two nights, dinner was buffet, the taste was OK, but there was no change for two nights, it was a bit monotonous if you stayed consecutively. There was free ramen supper in the evening, and the black sesame paste ramen was provided during my stay... After the baptism of the hotel's black sesame paste ramen and Nikko Station front soy milk ramen, I think I can eat any flavor of ramen.

The hotel is right across the Tobu Nikko Station, so if you come to Nikko via Tobu trains, this hotel is highly recommended. The rooms are small but it's enough, and the bathroom has a small bathtub for you to soak in. Checkin and checkout are quite late and early respectively but we can leave our bags at the hotel and then come back later to check in / out. There's also a complimentary breakfast (simple bread, egg, salad) even though we didn't reserve breakfast on Trip.com.

＊ Please confirm with the hotel in advance through customer service whether dinner is provided. If you don't have to buy it yourself, it is very important! The hotel is located in the scenic area (next to Zhongchan Temple Lake), there are no shops nearby, and it takes about 1 hour to take a bus from Tobu Nikko Station to Marushan (バス). This stay was about 5:30 pm, after confirming to the counter, no dinner was provided, no food was bought on the way, so I had to buy the vending machine provided in the hotel, Nissin curry cup noodles (400 ), Asahi / beer 330ml (300 ), very expensive. Make sure to buy meals and drinks at the station or convenience store, otherwise you can only buy expensive vending machines. ＊ When checking in, there will be an additional winter fuel fee (500/person), bath fee (150/person), and breakfast (2200/person). The room is Japanese-style tatami, the space is very spacious and comfortable, but the tatami floor is not cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, and the whole body will be wood chips when lying down, not very good. The bath has only two indoor pools, hot and warm, but the body is not hot to 40 degrees, the pool is not very big, about 3-4 people can soak at the same time, but it is great to have a bath in the deep mountains. The traffic is not very convenient, only by bus, about 2 kilometers from the nearest city, about 25 minutes walk. Breakfast is a Western-style platter, bread, corn soup, quite exquisite, but the portion is not much. Suitable for many people and hope that the space is large, you can eat your own food, drink and chat.
