This was my first time staying here alone. The receptionist was very helpful and gave good advice, even though she didn't speak English very well. Dinner was very good, everything was delicious. There was a private room for eating breakfast and dinner. The room was very spacious with a river view. The bathroom and shower room were separated nicely and had a nice smell of tatami mats. While we were having dinner, the staff came to make the bed for us. They were very attentive. There are 2 onsen pools, one indoor and one outdoor. In the morning, there is a free shuttle service to Kinugawaonsen train station at 10:20. Check-out time is 10:00. Very good. I will definitely come back to stay here again.

This time we went by car, but it's conveniently located, just a 3-minute walk from Kinugawa Koen Station! The lobby had a great atmosphere and a traditional Japanese feel. The staff were very friendly and provided good service. The room was very spacious and a little old, but it was clean and well-maintained. As it's a riverside inn, the view from the room window was amazing. The dinner and breakfast were very filling and delicious. The cocktails we had at Sakadokoro Haikara in the evening were also delicious. The hot springs and the open-air bath with a view of the Kinugawa River were both very pleasant.

The hotel is near JR Hanazono Station on Kinuchi River. It is convenient for transportation, but there are no shops nearby if you walk. It is very convenient if you drive.
