The hotel is right next to the bus station and has convenient transportation. And it's facing Lake Chuzenji, with beautiful scenery!
We booked a two-night stay with two meals, which was very cost-effective. The dishes were different for the two nights, and the hot spring was pretty good since there were not many people staying there.

The room was very nice. We booked a lake view room. The temperature outside was more than 10 degrees below zero, but the room was warm as spring because the room had a heater, which was much better than air conditioning. We booked a package that included breakfast and dinner. Compared with the hot springs, it was not very good, but it was already two of the better meals in Nikko. I feel that after so many visits to Japan, Nikko is a place where there are not many delicious things.

This is our second night at Lake Chuzenji. Compared to the previous night, this is a very fine hotel, and the food is very delicious and filling. Yunohana Onsen is very special and comfortable. The location by Lake Chuzenji is appealing. I was a little concerned that there was no elevator, but when I asked the manager, he said that the building was too sturdy and it would be difficult to install an elevator. Instead, the staff helped me carry my luggage up and down, so I had almost no trouble. The hot spring is small, but (when I went) most of the people there were foreigners and not many people used it, so I was able to relax and enjoy it at my leisure.
