If you have the conditions, I strongly recommend booking a room with private soup. The experience is so good! Then the most surprising thing is! The hotel's buffet dinner~ The quality is really high~~~~~~There are many people in the restaurant, but in the meal pick-up area, if the juice on each plate is scattered and the dishes are messed up, someone will immediately go to clean it up! Very good management👍 This hotel is really recommended!

The hotel is a bit old, but it can be seen that it was very grand when it was originally designed. I think the location of the hotel is very good, the rooms on both sides can see the valley view is very good. It is acceptable not to make too many demands on meals, but you need to be cautious if you have demands. The public bathing pools are average. It’s a pity that the private baths are fully booked on weekends, but the public open-air pools are also okay. There is a bus to pick up and drop off the hotel at the entrance of the hot spring town, 200 yen is half price for adults and children (prepare coins). The station is on the right hand side when you come out of the station. Show the driver the name of the hotel and you will be told which car (two cars in two directions) for the return trip Let the front desk help you call the bus driver to make a reservation, the earliest is 9.20

Private Onsen available on reservation, have to check with the front desk upon check-in. The room provided is well decorated with tatami floor and comfy futon beds. Located on a river and quick walk from a train station.

The hotel room is a standard Japanese hot spring hotel, but the room is indeed very old. Those who like new hotels should be careful, because I personally like the atmosphere of old Japanese hotels. Everything else is good. The breakfast and dinner are especially good. There is seafood Dongfan for breakfast, and I ate a lot. The open-air hot spring is also great, and I soaked once in the morning and once in the evening. I think it is good.

The family is in their 30s. The room is large and the dinner is very luxurious. It is worthy of the specifications of the New Year’s Eve dinner. The service is very meticulous and thoughtful. As a Ctrip Gold Diamond member, I never write reviews for hotels I've been to, but this time, I have to especially thank the hotel's Chinese receptionist, Ms. Yu (I don't know if it's this Yu or that Yu, please forgive me if I write it wrong). Ms. Yu is very serious and responsible in her work, and she is also very enthusiastic and willing to help others. She patiently explained to me the hotel's environmental structure and various precautions, and personally took me to understand the location and usage of the hotel facilities. After learning that I wanted to have a massage to relieve fatigue, she took the initiative to take me to communicate with the masseur to determine the time and specific items, etc. She was very patient. The rooms and lobby are decorated with great care. They are antique. There is a hot spring on the second floor. There is a children's play area. There is a fitness area. There is also a music area with many musical instruments. There are many calligraphy and sculptures.

The food in this restaurant is quite bad among the many Hoshino hotels I stayed in…very ordinary and the ingredients are not high-end. The hotel should be sold for the scenery during the red leaf season. However, there are too many choices of beautiful maple leaf hotels in Japan. Overall, the service of this hotel is quite good. However, I would not recommend friends to come to this hotel. It is too ordinary and the price-performance ratio is relatively low.

first of I would like to thanks always trip.com for very nice & convinient bookings everytime,we stay new sakura hotel,because the interior of the hotel is mostly sakura theme,the carpet,the gorgeous chandelier, the wall design,etc.or cherry blossom in Japan,& so very affordable prize,we spend only 18,000 yen for 2 adults,with 2 breakfast & 2 dinner.Very near from kinugawa onsen station,only 3 hrs.from Tokyo.We amazed the room,so very big for the two of us,for very cheap prize,can accomodate even 10 person,the buffet breakfast & dinner also is so good but the most I want to share is the drink all you can alcohol beverages for 1 hour,like beer,japanese wine,sours, all kinds of softhdrinks,I enjoyed for self service alcohol drink all you can!the hotspring also is very good but the cons is take care in the outdoor spring because of the concrete stairs,especially for the elderly when slippery,there's & a little bit far from our room,the young staff also at the counter is nice & most of them are young japanese lady,so very entertaining,so many free amusement like billiard,majong,etc.with a nice sorrounding sightseeng site.& last after check out they give 2000 yen discount coupon for the next visit,Thanks God & trip.com for a nice autumn tour moment in kinugawa onsen Tochigi Perfecture Japan

Traditional style hotel, with the interior looking like ryokan, which we really enjoyed (except the dark hallways). Furniture was a bit old but I'll take it as part of the charm. Check-in was instant, the reception staff was hospitable. The onsen was great too, I recommended it. Location is a bit more far then other hotels.
