The room is clean, the service is very good, and the breakfast is rich. I will choose this hotel next time. They also upgraded me to a family suite for free. I took pictures of the outside of the hotel, but not the inside. I personally think this hotel is cost-effective.

I have just got back from this hotel and it was a lovely. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The room was really big and the bed was really comfy. The hotel was spotless. The food was lovely in the hotel and I couldn’t fault it. The hotel is about a half an hour walk into town or about €7 in a taxi. There is a lovely bar where I didn’t find it was too dear - €5 for vodka coke. I liked the fact that you can view your bill on the tv in the bedroom - so if you are/drank things out of the minibar you could check your bill I would say there is a lot of building work going on in the roads around the hotel and building work starts quite early in the morning. The hotel was only a base so the building work didn’t get in the way of myself enjoying myself.

Hotel is adequate and clean with a good sized room, lots of TV stations, and nice balconies. I didn't check the location before I booked. It is about a 30-mintue walk to the heart of the old city. Probably not a concern if you're traveling for business. Breakfast is pretty good, though not spectacular, and not replenished later in the morning. In general, I was little disappointed after reading so many positive reviews. The room was hot and stuffy and in need of renovation. Adjusting the thermostat only provided heat, so I needed to sleep with the window open. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, that may have contributed to the stuffiness. Bathroom was tiny. Bedding was nice, but mattress seemed old and sinking. Walls are definitely thin as I could hear a normal-volume conversation from the next room. Overall my stay was fine, but for the price and from the photos on website, I was expecting something much nicer.

Having a lovely stay at the Semeli hotel, this is not the first time I have stayed here, and I always find the rooms very comfortable and the staff excellent. I had a great meal in the restaurant and while I was enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, I couldn’t help noticing something very odd. The addition of a large dresser seems to have caused some technical challenges - the painting, which is hidden awkwardly behind the dresser, at an angle, could easily be rehung on the adjoining wall where there is plenty of space. And the cleverly disguised water battle on the floor, why not hide it in the dresser under the coffee machine the bottle is connected to? Minor things, but easy to fix and would not give the hotel a slightly odd feel. Overall, highly recommended!

Have visited before and this time got upgrade to the new Junior suites in a new building, absolutely awesome, very clean and fully equipped and spacious, Also Great service from all the staff and food was very good as well. Will be going again very soon

A little gem of a hotel off the beat and track. I found it by luck and whilst it’s not the first word in modernity - there’s definitely an old school charm to it. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, the rooms have got proper mattresses and pillows with thick bed linen and wooden floors. The price is completely value for money.

This accommodation is not suitable for business trips due to a lack of respect for quiet hours. During my previous stay, I encountered significant disturbances caused by guests who checked in at 2 a.m. They made considerable noise while coming and going from their rooms and played music loudly. When I reported this to the reception, it took two hours for the staff to address the situation. Ultimately, the receptionist asked the guests to keep the noise down and informed them exactly which room made the complaint and this time they had an event that’s lasts until late at night and no one notified us even though they knew it was a business trip and guaranteed it would be a quiet two days for the hotel. Indicating a lack of professionalism and respect for guests.

AC was not working for two days. Even after fixing it. It was very noisy Hard of sleep because of the Insect bites and sound of the constructions. The hotel refused to change the room even there were two empty ones due to hotel policy. Very bad shower, balcony needs new furniture. No free water in the mini bar. Overall, very bad experience!

Going through and having processed the facts that you have stated, indeed, there was an issue with the air-conditioning and it was resolved the second day of your stay after noon. We had no other report from your side that you had an issue with the air-conditioning after that. With regards to the construction site that you are referring to, there was nothing around that time at the hotel area that was causing any noise and besides that you were located at a very quiet room on the top floor. With regards to the room change as you were told and explained many times, the hotel was fully booked with not any available options of room move. It was not possible and not because we did not want to give you that option but because we could not once, we had the opportunity to change your room we did. You had requested to be accommodated in one of your colleagues’ rooms and you were told that it was not possible to be accommodated in the specific room but to another available. It was again explained to you that due to the hotel occupancy and room allocation it was not possible but instead you were given another room on the top floor. We are very surprised with your published feedback since we were given the impression that we did meet your expectations and succeed to accommodate you in the best possible way for the rest of your stay. It’s 86 degrees here, 86 degrees! No air conditions available in the hotel, they refuse to refund our money as we check out after 3 hours due to our daughter’s respiratory issues. Rooms are dated and tight, hotel is far away from any restaurants or attractions.

Unfortunately, we were not able to turn on the Air conditioning Cooling Mode on the time, being in a transitional climatic period experiencing a large temperature difference between hot in the midday hours and cold in the evening hours. The Front Desk was informed and then of course the Hotel Management for your complaint but there was no time to react since you decided to check out earlier. Your reservation was made thought a third-party partner and we were unable to refund you directly but we had to go thought your agent. This is exactly what we did, we informed the agent about the incident the same day and refunded fully your agent and demanded to refund you as well and of course to inform you immediately for the refund. With regards to the room size, we tried to ultimately utilize the available area providing to our Guests all necessary services and facilities for a City Hotel. With regards to the timeless decoration and furnishing approach, it has been followed on purpose as this imparts a unique character and differentiates our hotel from many others. This is management choice and we never lacked of any advanced technology of the current century. You received the room type that you had chosen based on the brochures /pictures that you saw and nothing less, we do understand that this might not have been what you actually wanted but this is what we represent to the market. The hotel is located in a central business location with access to many available options around and the old /town, city center within 2km distance from the hotel. Again, this is exactly what the hotel advertises and share to the public and future guests and we never mislead our guests to believe otherwise. We are truly sorry that we did not have the chance resolve any issue and to achieve our main goal of ultimate guest satisfaction. Absolutely charming hotel. 😍 Lovely interiors with an art deco feel. Bedrooms are wonderful with attention to detail. Great staff who are very professional. The breakfast selection is impressive. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone. 😊

A few challenges with this hotel ie aircon, bugs, slow drainage in bath, slow lifts, parking etc - but this is all the Cyprus experience. Special mention to Alexi, Sylvia and Michalis who were the cheeriest and most helpful souls. Thank you. If you want a Cyprus experience, stay there - if you want no challenges or character, stay at the Hilton. It is a bit away from shops, bars etc so get organised with water, snacks and any other liquid refreshments you may like. Enjoyed the stay and based on the expectations as above, would recommend for price. Thank you x
