Hotel Novotel Nha Trang Reviews

I am still in Nha Trang. I booked 4 hotels for total 8 nights in Nha Trang. Novotel was the third hotel I stayed. Currently I am staying at the fourth. Of those four hotels I stayed (or staying), Novotel is the hotel I would visit again in the future. It isn’t the most expensive hotel of the four. But in terms of the benefit/cost ratio, Novotel comes the first. 1. Location is great. It’s located at the heart of Nha Trang, right in front of the beach. There are many restaurants near by. 2. Hotel has several parasols and chairs on the beach. They are free for the guests. Very convenient. 3. The staffs are great. Someone stole my passport right after check-in. I visited a massage shop before my room gets ready. And massager stole it while I was lying face down. (The massage shop was recommended by a hair cut shop right across the street. Be careful.) Of course I was mentally shaken. But the staffs were so helpful. They were concerned about my situation, and didn’t hesitate to lend me helping hands. They even proactively prepared some documents, in case I come across unforeseen situations. This sort of considerate gestures helped me calm down. This was a classy service. Also I can sense they shared my information to see they were so ready. I stayed at a cheaper hotel before Novotel. It had a bigger and newer building. These are what I experienced. It took three phone calls and three staff visits over two hours to open a safe that was locked from the beginning. And so many group tours. I was constantly surprised by their loud voices during the breakfasts. I even saw 5-6 shirtless young men sitting in front of the hotel chatting. No one stopped them. I was shocked. And those attitudes of front-desk staffs…. Don’t get fooled by photos. There was one person I wanted to thank before I leave Novotel. But he wasn’t on duty…. And yes, it was strictly massage. What are you thinking?

The hotel is very clean and well-organized. It’s in a great location, just a short distance from the attractions, which makes sightseeing really easy. The staff are super friendly and always happy to help. If you need anything, you can just ask them anytime. Plus, the sea view from the balcony is fantastic

very good horel

The hotel isn't new (est.2008) and looks old-fashioned but the room is clean and spacious. The view of the sea is stunning. Buffet breakfast was various but it was rather hot in the restaurant and the coffee machines didn't work properly. The room service was OK but I had to ask them to refill a shower gel bottle or gave back my own hangers. All in all, the hotel is very good.

Upgrade to whole sea view room, fantastic. Location is really good to every where, convenient.

Great hotel in a great location on the beachfront and right in the centre of the action. Great gym and spa on site.

Great location, clean room (superior king room ocean view) - sin my opinion significantly more modern than the standards. a little bit more than standard but worth it. Quiet pool with lots of sun. Very friendly staff. Close to everything. A small decent workout room and an in-house spa.

Location, service, breakfast … all best ;) I am sure that I will come again with my family

Such good location, just in downtown. And seems all room are able to get view of sea, the time we visited just in raining season, it's said it will be much beautiful to take a picture to the sea if it's sunshine. Anyway, cloudy is something special as well. And the breakfast is super good, with so many choices. Good impress on their local street food and Vietnam Coffee and many different fruits. Staff services are also good.

Novotel had really good service. The managers were very friendly and upgraded us to a family room with bunk beds. The kids loved the bunk beds. The family rooms were on the side of the building, but there is still a good view of the sea on the balcony. The location is excellent, close to everything and is a quick walk to the beach. The hotel has a small pool but you can order food and drinks right by the pool. The front reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

Our time at the Novotel in Nha Trang was great. The staff were helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the seafood buffet, and the food and drinks were very well made. We had massages and facials at the spa, which were very professional and relaxing. While you need to cross the street to get to the beach, it is not very inconvenient and there are lounge chairs available for hotel guests. We also enjoyed that food and drinks were available at the hotel pool. The room was clean and comfortable.

I checked in after midnight and they gave me a wrong room key and made me stand in the hot and humid corridor for a while without any apology. The room was damp and smelled moldy. The facilities were old and the shower filter I brought became filthy after only one shower. (Picture attached) The price of my stay wasn’t cheap but wasn’t worth it at all.
