A wonderful getaway ! Such a beautiful setting , the hotel is sympathetically designed and we loved how modern comfort blended with history and nature . From our room with a view over the walled garden, to dinner at gullion restaurant , to walking the estate - it felt like a full refresh despite only being a one night stay. Staff are a real highlight - friendly and helpful and yet not overbearing . We are already planning our return stay!

Beautiful hotel in fabulous setting, bedrooms gorgeous bed very comfortable, Nespresso machine fabulous views from room, castle in background gorgeous and lovely walks. Bistro food and breakfast beautiful. Pity spa pools etc not a bit bigger as was busy and appointment only would have liked to have availed of it earlier. Would recommend book spa time at booking stay but definetly will return such a relaxing quiet place.

We booked an overnight stay to celebrate my 50th birthday, we had heard rave reviews about the hotel and thought it was somewhere that would be a real treat. The positives: The staff are excellent and extremely friendly, they are a real asset to the hotel. The food was also excellent with good choice. The negatives: The spa was very disappointing, it is very small and was overcrowded. The outdoor jacuzzi is almost impossible to operate, with someone having to hang over the side to get it going. The bedroom was spacious, with clean modern decor, however our bed was made up of 2 singles pushed together and created an uncomfortable edge down the centre. The hallway from the bedrooms to reception has old tired looking rugs, which are a trip hazard with curled up edges. Overall, I expected more from this hotel and left slightly disappointed. We will not return.

Fabulous hotel. Everything from check in to departure was wonderful and the warm and welcoming staff are a credit to the hotel. The location is stunning with lots of areas to explore. We ate in the bistro bar which was delicious and breakfast next morning in the restaurant was very good.The rooms are lovely and spacious with nice little touches added. Looking forward to my next visit already.

We had a fantastic stay. I loved how eco-considerate the hotel was, sorely lacking in other hotels. The customer service was excelllent. The thermal spa was a lovely way to spend some time. As hotel breakfasts go, it was the nicest I've had in a long time. Highly recommend 👌

When we arrived there were plenty of car parking spaces and not too far to walk into reception. Victoria welcomed us at reception and was most friendly. We enjoyed afternoon tea in the restaurant on the 3rd floor, nice selection of savoury and sweet. Amy and the team looked after us very well. We went then to the bar, which is on the second floor, and Michaela served us. We enjoyed the cocktails. In the meantime, Victoria had organised our cases to our room. Our room 209 was beautiful, with a balcony. Big cosy bed, spotlessly clean and good bathroom and an excellent view. We had the 3 course bistro dinner which we enjoyed in the bar. Excellent service from Conor, Connor, Aoife Rose, Eryn, and Michaela. It was lovely to meet Shane. Breakfast was really good, fantastic selection of everything and again wonderful service. Eugene kindly gave us a tour of the Castle, the beautiful reception area with the log fire, the bedrooms and bathrooms fit for a king and queen, not to mention the views. The big marquee was set up for a wedding, and it looked amazing. All the staff in Killeavy Castle are very friendly and helpful. Didn't on this occasion get to the spa but will go back again. Thank you all for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this magnificent hotel. We were warmly welcomed by james who brought us to our room and showed us how to operate the heating. Beautiful room with tea/coffee/still and sparkling water. Beautiful view of the countryside. Had dinner in the bar and again staff were friendly and v accommodating. Great sleep in comfortable bed with high quality bed linen and pillows. Breakfast was terrific and we were served by Marie who was so warm and friendly. First class stay in a first class hotel.

Fabulous hotel, excellent staff and food to die for! Nothing was a bother for the staff! The spa was beautiful! Everything you could need and more. The pricing was very reasonable and size portions were huge!! I’m already planing mu next overnight treat
