This hotel is in a fabulous location, overlooking beautiful Mawgan Porth beach. The spa was delightful. The breakfasts were generous and really hood quality food. Above all, the staff were all very friendly, helpful and made our stay for us. We had our elderly Dad with us and they couldn't do enough for him, this was really appreciated. Our stay was a special treat for us, we wouldn't usually spend so much on a holiday but it was worth every penny.

From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect and clean, food menu was good. The hot tub experience was great and we even ventured in the colder outdoor pool which was very invigorating. We definitely will return. Thank you

Probably my new favourite location and hotel in the UK. From arrival to departure every hotel team member was friendly and helpful, working hard to ensure our stay was perfect. Our room was delightful with a huge freestanding bath, outside garden, gate with access to the hotel grounds and a quirky turret with seating area to enjoy the spectacular sunsets we were blessed with. The hotel has been thoughtfully designed and even though it was full during our stay we always found a peaceful corner to relax, read, play pool or sip our evening drink. The dining room serves delicious breakfasts, with every option possible and the evening meal was exceptional. We were lucky with the weather to enjoy the outside natural pool every day and wander through the gardens directly to the stunning sandy beach. Just a short stroll to a wonderful fish restaurant, which is worth a visit. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and in my opinion it's a top 5* experience all round.

The Scarlet Spa Hotel is in a beautiful setting with excellent spa facilities and peaceful, well-kept grounds. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful and made a great effort to help us celebrate an occasion. However, there were a few issues that took away from the overall experience. I asked twice for firmer pillows as the ones provided were too soft for me to sleep well. I was told someone would follow up, but never heard back. I also left a pair of glasses in a drawer when I checked out and was told they couldn’t be found, even though I’m certain they were left behind. To top it off, my final bill had multiple errors – including two separate £20 overcharges from the restaurant with no explanation. These were eventually corrected, but it made for a frustrating checkout. Overall, a great spa and setting, but housekeeping and billing need improvement. Would love to return if these issues are addressed.

I really dislike hotels, but the Scarlet has a unique informal, but utterly professional feel - nothing is ever too much trouble. Can’t fault it.

I could not find fault in any aspect of our trip to the Scarlet Hotel. The surroundings, service, food, drinks and mostly staff were exceptional. Our room and the view were to die for. I can't recommend this Hotel more.
