Family group from 19 to 85 years old and it suited us all. The location was amazing with great views and plenty of walks as well as the beach. The staff were exceptional! Reception staff were so helpful from check in, for giving my mum daily access to her eye drops which needed to be kept frozen and to taking delivery of a birthday cake and finding me a lighter to light candles. Breakfast was excellent and the waiting staff were all very helpful and friendly. Bar staff were also very friendly and helpful. Would strongly recommend!

This was our honeymoon weekend. Very disappointing stay . Finding a place for the car was unbelievable Food overpriced for the amount given . The room we got was at the back of the hotel The nose constantly going on from around 6.30 class bottle bins and rubbish bins being picked up . Even in the relaxation room we could still hear noise My wife said to me it should not have been like it as she has visited other spas . I’m not a fussy eater but I have to say I struggled with the menu. Breakfast was included . I had the full English which I found very poor indeed. Have to say I would think twice about saying at this hotel again.

Chose this hotel as we were attending a wedding at Lusty Glaze. Check in was excellent and surprisingly our room was ready early. We dined in the Bay Bar and the food was fresh and tasty. Breakfast was delicious with a self serve buffet or hot dishes from the menu. Room was well appointed with plenty of draw space. Tea making facilities and a large TV All of the staff were really superb. Would definitely recommend. Only drawback is the parking. Pre booking is must.

We booked this hotel as we were attending a friend’s 80th birthday party. We were due to fly from Southend airport. Unfortunately just before we were due to take off a medical evacuation aircraft crashed on take on take off with all on board perishing. Obviously Southend airport was then closed. Because of this we were unable to get to Newquay. We asked Fistral Beach Hotel for a refund which they refused. Another hotel in which we had booked three nights immediately refunded our payment.

Walked past this hotel dozens of times over the last 20 odd years. We decided to arrive for our holiday a day early so booked a standard double room. The room itself backed onto the rear of the hotel on the ground floor, the view wasn't very desirable however we only needed somewhere to sleep and shower. Room was clean and had everything you needed, tea, coffee, shower products. However no fridge for medication. Food was lovely and staff were great. From the outside I expected less.

Back again at this wonderful hotel in a wonderful spot how lucky are they to live in a beautiful breathtaking location. 3rd stay at this hotel it’s a favourite staff are friendly & helpful special mention to Noah , Jack and the many others we never got all the names Bar staff are lovely , reception staff so helpful think it was Amy then there’s the Spa omg I didn’t want to leave we treated ourselves to a bespoke massage it was so relaxing. Dining at night in the restaurant is beautiful amazing food presented so beautiful. Now we have a little niggle as it’s our 3rd stay we felt rooms and stairways are a little neglected our sink had a big crack in it and they need rid of that awful shower curtains ours leaked every time we used shower leaving floor really wet and slippy we did report it and a second shower curtain was fitted but not much effect unfortunately. Join the loyalty club as everything you spend money on in the hotel earns you points and they really do add up . Looking to book again for next year we can’t wait 👍

This is a relaxing hotel in a prime location with beautiful views overlooking Fistral Beach. We had a balcony rooms which was comfortable but quite small, the bathroom was an average size but needs renovating the bath had chips in it and the shower was not good. The whole hotel could do with a refurbishment. We enjoyed our stay and found it a relaxing place to be most of the time. The evening food was not good. The breakfast buffet was very limited although the cooked food was excellent but small. They ran out of salmon one day. There were a large group approximately 15 men who were very noisy at the breakfast and took most of the outside seats at times, also a hen party stayed, not really what you expect. The food in the bar was not good and not a good choice, they ran out of burgers and peas one night. We had the fish and chips which looked huge but it was nearly all hard batter with a thin piece of fish inside. The hotel is also a good walk from the town and not somewhere you would walk to town in the evening. We enjoyed our stay, staff were helpful and friendly, the pool was a good size but we wouldn’t return .
