Dreadful experience. Didn't pay extra for a seaview but also didn't expect the majority of the light to be obscured by a gigantic skip (see pic). Opened the curtains on day 2 to be greeted by a array of builders staring in not that they could see much due to the state of the non-opening window. Room smelt stale and the ventilation system wasn't sufficient to give the room any air!. The included buffet breakfast is dreadful with everything cremated more than me late Nan and Friday when we went for breakfast at 9.45 (finished at 10.30) so not late all that was available was bread so I enjoyed a £11 plate of toast🙄(see pic). All in all not a good experience and the partner was bitten by something in the room (not me 😂) which reading the reviews now (too late with hindsight) she is not the first. Genuinely had better experiences in £20 Blackpool b&b's and that's saying something! My strongest advice is look elsewhere. You have been warned!!

Staff are amazing, nothing too much trouble, obviously understaffed, so they work really hard. Clean rooms, comfy beds, great view. Kieron does the best poached eggs. Good value for money, parking is extra if you are in a car, but roads around are unlimited parking.

The premier inn Newquay is in a rather good location beach right outside the hotel and the shops pubs and restaurants just up the road. I booked a premium plus room and I didn't think it was worth the extra pounds to be honest, shower had no pressure bathroom sink no hot water. I stayed in better premium inn rooms and that was just a family room. Check in was abit of a mess self check in was not working and there was no one on the desk as the lady was doing 2, till 3 jobs at once but got us check in quickly. Didn't get the lady name but she a credit to the hotel (give that lady rise). Car park was ok abit expensive for 1 night considering the season for Newquay. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Hopefully will be back next time. Up the wings!

Parking is ridiculously expensive at £12 or £14 depending on where you park. The parking under the hotel hard to get to, down a narrow lane behind the hotel and the d disabled spaces difficult to get into. Good was really good though. Room comfortable.

Arrived 10 mins before 3 which is the official check in time. Spoke to the woman on reception who said we would have to wait until 3 unless we had paid for an early check in. Not sure if this is a general new policy but did seem a bit petty for the sake of 10 mins. Clearly others were doing the same and all waiting around for 3pm. Room was spacious and had the sea view we had paid for which was nice. Disappointed however to find when we went down to breakfast signs up saying it was continental only. Anyone with children knows the breakfast is the highlight of a premier inn stay, so it would have been good to know this in advance and maybe we would have considered booking elsewhere. Apparently we will be refunded the difference for the breakfast, so will wait and see if that happens.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip. It’s in a great location, right opposite the seafront. Check in was a breeze - the room was comfortable and clean. I slept exceptionally well in a very comfortable bed. A few points to call out: 1. On one night, the restaurant was busy and the staff did their utmost hardest to ensure that everyone was served and looked after. The staff here are what make this hotel. I wanted to specifically mention Trudi - her customer service skills and attention to detail / warm and friendly approach is excellent. 2. WiFi - the ‘free’ WiFi that is offered is slow. You can pay to get faster speeds, but I didn’t bother as I begrudged paying it as many other hotels do offer these normal / faster speeds that are included in the overall ‘package’. Overall, an excellent stay. Thank you.

The views are amazing, it’s definitely worth paying for a sea view. Unfortunately the room was not as clean as we hoped, there was litter on the floor and hairs in and on our bed, I asked for the bed to be changed which they did but they didn’t make it look particularly presentable. We had no hot water in the sink. The lifts need a really good clean. Instead of standing in the foyer chatting perhaps your staff could clean in their spare time. We were hoping for dinner but was told there was a really limited menu as they had ran out of so much so we went else where. The same with breakfast, we were told it was continental only, well we were hoping for a good breakfast as we had a long day ahead of us so really it was quite a shame but it could have been amazing. I really think the standards need to be raised a little, the location is amazing but people will expect the service to go with it too then they will come back time and time again. Photo attached of the bed after it had been cleaned and changed by staff and untouched by us.
