The carpet was torn all the way around the bedroom, broken tiles in the bathroom dirt all around the floor in the bathroom dust all the way around the edging in the bedroom the sheets had stains on them. I can’t believe how much I paid for this service.

All very good nice hotel very good location clean apart from the seagulls on the roof outside the bedroom window they had babies making a noise and there was no way to park. I had to pay in a car park opposite Hotel is lovely and the staff are great.

The washbasin produced only a trickle of cold water all week. The shower had very low pressure and was also cold, except that sometimes it suddenly turned to scalding hot, so could not be used. A bagful of my clothes went missing. The TV did not work properly. Nothing was done about any of this. Feedback afterwards was unanswered. This was my worst hotel experience ever and the place should be avoided.

Had to book a room last minute; let’s just say there is a bed and shower. Max 2 star hotel. Tatty carpet, no air con, no fridge, not toiletries, blocked shower plug. If you book this place in the summer prepare to sleep in an oven. Reception staff were lovely and extremely helpful.

This is my third visit to the Sandy Lodge Hotel and that is because the hotel delivers great value and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The hotel is located close to the town and the beaches are literally 250 metres away. I cannot reccomend enough!!

The room was a bit dated...in need of a refresh.My tv wasn't working properly, poor reception. I was only stopping 1 night, not a big deal. My one big disappointment is that breakfast is advertised on the hotels website but not available on the day of my stay. Not good.....my advice would be to check with hotel to what amenities are on offer.
