Newquay Bay Resort

Our recent stay in this caravan was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The comfortable furnishings made it feel like a home away from home. What really made this caravan stand out was its prime location—just a short walk, less than a mile, to the stunning Porth Beach. We spent our days soaking up the sun and enjoying the sea, knowing we had a cozy and clean place to return to each evening. I highly recommend this caravan to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway. We can’t wait to book our next stay!

Stayed in number 9 caravans. Was a delightful experience and great host with clear instructions for our stay and good advice of places to go. Very friendly venue and had a blast will definitely return next year :)

Convenient location, good amenities, quiet family environment. We stayed for a few nights in a static caravan through Booking-com. We have nothing negative to say about the camp site, but the van we used had a lingering old cigarette smell that we couldn't get used to.

We stayed at number 9 which was the perfect location, close to the shop, pool, club house & guest services, but not on the road which meant we had better views. Number 9 was a superior luxury holiday home, it was spotless with modern interior, a fantastic shower, two toilets (one of which was an en-suite). We enjoyed dining out on the large terrace as well is in the spacious kitchen/living area. The host also left us with some essentials which was a nice touch. I’d like to also give a shout out to Mike at the club house for being extra helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to book and come again!

Ok so the resort itself is kind of in the middle of no where. It’s no park dean but it has the basics. We booked a luxury caravan with outside decking. The caravan was ok (not luxury) clean and neat but with no extra comfort (never realised before that you really need cushions to make a caravan sofa comfortable) the bedrooms were quite small and had no where to put clothes so were all put in main room cupboards. The beds weren’t particularly comfy either and the main double was missing two central poles which made it feel like it could collapse at any minute. Yes some of the doors would stick and were gappy and the bedroom drawers weren’t fitted properly but it all did its job. No extras such as iron, hair dryer or sweeping brush even (which you think you’d get in a luxury). Theres an indoor swimming pool which you can go into any time no hassle which we used a few times. Theres 1 shop and the entertainment bar is across the road. It’s pretty basic with small arcade and pub food and drink. The way I see it is that I didn’t drive all this was to simply be entertained on my caravan site. We went out into Newquay every day which is what we had planned to do. It’s not a seaside town with arcades and fairs. It’s a town town with loads of bars and cafes. If you want onsite entertainment all day everyday this is not the place. If you’re happy to look else where and explore then this will do.my advice do some research into what’s available around here and parking is a nightmare. Been on plenty of caravan holidays and I wouldn’t say I’ll be raving about this place but it was a pleasant holiday and the kids were err happy.

Extremely Disappointing – Would Strongly Advise Avoiding I would not recommend this place to anyone. The caravans are incredibly small and cramped, and we felt on top of each other the entire time. The beds were frankly a joke: tiny, uncomfortable, and impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. Half single beds! There’s no Wi-Fi or mobile signal in the caravans, making it difficult to stay connected. The site itself felt completely deserted, almost like a ghost town, which was especially surprising given the time of year. Facilities opened late and closed early, leaving very little to do. The promotional photos, particularly of the outdoor pool, are extremely misleading. The reality is that it’s completely run down and looks nothing like what’s advertised. As for Newquay itself, it felt like just another tired British seaside town, with limited dining options and a general sense of neglect. Honestly, we’d have been just as disappointed in Blackpool, and that’s saying something. Not only will I never return to this particular site, but this experience has put me off UK holidays altogether. I’ll be returning to abroad holidays from now on.
