The Inn has some many things going for it; beautiful hotel, centrally located, free parking, FREE BREAKFAST DELIVERED TO YOUR ROOM AT YOUR REQUESTED TIME and superb staff. It should be rated as a 5 Star Hotel

Mill Street Inn was the perfect place for our stay in Newport Beach. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Loved the breakfast brought to your room. Delicious! You can eat in your room or if the weather is good up on the roof deck. Special thanks to Lori at the front desk for her recommendations. Especially for the restaurant with wonderful clam chowder. If we return in the future we’ll be staying here.

Enjoyed a last minute getaway during Daffy Days and I’m so glad we made the trip. This lovely inn was a lumber mill until the 70s, converted to a B&B in the 80s, and continues to be beautifully maintained and well run. The woman at the desk was a local, and seemed genuinely happy to spend time answering my questions and showing me spots on the map to see daffodils. The lobby smelled nice and the sangria was a nice touch. We had a suite on the first floor that was spacious, clean, and tastefully appointed. We enjoyed the continental breakfast delivered to our room. You are given a checklist of choices to fill out and leave on your door knob by midnight. Options included yogurt parfait (a very rich yogurt), hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit salad with mint garnish, spinach and feta croissant, orange juice, coffee, or tea. It comes in a paper bag, so you could enjoy it in your room, take it to go, or (unfortunately not open yet during our stay) on the roof deck. The only thing that could have been better was if the roof deck had been open for the season while we were there. They also have a small gym in the basement. It was great to have parking on site, it was quiet while we were there so we were able to park in the spots right near the door, so did not see inside the underground parking area that other reviewers said was tight.

Outstanding B&B. We had a studio suite on the second floor --- light and airy, quiet, comfy king bed. We enjoyed the breakfasts and had our last one on the rooftop terrace. The parking spaces in the garage were large and we really never needed our car since we were able to walk everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Inn is in the perfect location for exploring Newport. This is a very classy, well-run inn !

Beautiful hotel with great service and in a perfect location to visit the downtown restaurants and shops.
