As an owner of a week during the summer and as a previous guest, I love the Onshore. The location and the amenities are wonderful. HOWEVER, I have been a victim of a bait and switch scam connected to the Wyndham and third party rental agencies. Once in the spring, and thinking this couldn’t possibly happen again, and this December weekend. I reserved this weekend 9 months ago for our family holiday tradition. Only to find I didn’t have a reserved unit at checkin. No cancellation notification AND a welcome notification came from the Onshore a day before welcoming us. NO help from the manager! After 3 hours of frustrating phone calls with ******* and Extra Holidays, we were relocated to Wyndham Long Wharf where helpful staff arranged a unit for us. Two crying granddaughters were happy to have a place to sleep. Ironically, 4 hours later - Onshore had an available unit after being told there was no way they could accommodate us! ! TRAVELERS BEWARE!!!!
