This is a wonderful place to stay. Very quiet place. The room is clean and comfortable. The grounds around the room are beautiful. It is within walking distance of the south end of the cliff walk. ( something we plan on going back to do ). The owner Noreen was excellent to deal with. Answered any questions I had. I am already planning my next trip.

We spent a nice weekend at Murray House, a charming B&B in the hart of the 'Mansion District'. Our room was very comfy, with eclectic decorations, a jacusi tub and kitchenette. Noreen, the hostess, was most accommodating and we'll surely return.

Clean cozy and cute! I loved the pool, and its worth noting that the shower is excellent as well! Mainly- I am so thankful the place is pet friendly! The staff is wonderful. Also great location- this is close to everything. Really enjoyed Cliff Walk!

Had a fabulous stay here while visiting Salve Regina University. The rooms are so warm and inviting and love all the hidden details. Very clean and everything was as described. The host was extremely welcoming and offered many ideas for attractions to see. Close to salve campus , downtown and beautiful ocean drive. Will definitely be staying here at our next visit.

The experience of going to this place was breathtaking. The quaintness of the place was so amazing. I felt like I was staying with my grandma. Everything about this place was so awesome. We loved the the artwork that displayed the feeling of being in an Italian villa. Hope to be able to visit again. And recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway.

We enjoyed our stay in the Garden room. The room was clean, comfortable and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We took advantage of the kitchenette, private outdoor seating area and we were able to walk to the mansions as well as the Bailey Beach end of the cliff walk. Noreen was very welcoming and helpful in sharing her local knowledge. She was very responsive with email in the days leading up to our stay as well as while we were visiting to help contribute to a great visit to Newport.

We had a lovely weekend staying at the Murray House. We stayed in the garden room and it was spacious and clean with closet space, a small kitchen stocked with snacks, and a large bathroom. The decorations added some personality as well! The room was cozy and very comfortable and we enjoyed using the very private garden right outside our room. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked beautiful and clean. About a 5-10 minute drive to the bustling part of Newport but the neighborhood itself was safe, quiet, and convenient. Noreen was also very clear with her directions for entry even though we arrived after dark. I would definitely recommend staying at the Murray House if ever visiting Newport!

The Murray House is lovely. A perfect place if you like quiet but also be in the heart of town. We were minutes away from the Cliff Walk and the Beach. It was a great morning walk. Murray House is also minutes away from the Mansions and to so many great restaurants. Noreen was so helpful, patient and knowledgeable. She gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations. Loved the themed decorated room, the kitchenette was well stocked with snacks, drinks and breakfast items. Oh and the gardens and pool was such a wonderful plus.

What an adorable charming Garden Room! Everything you need for a romantic weekend! Just Bring the wine! Having a kitchenette was such a perk. Thank you Noreen for stocking it with goodies. The pool and whirlpool was just a bonus to our romantic get away! Loved Being away from the busy crowded town but only 5 min car ride away. Can’t wait to return
