Need to take note whether the booking is for the County Hotel or the County Aparthotel. It wasn’t clear when we booked it. The County Hotel is better located but the Aparthotel is further away from the train station. The Aparthotel room that we stayed in was big but it was slightly older - the bed was very well used and had little support. But overall, the room was still okay, not the best.

The hotel is just opposite the train station, very close. And there is no street noise. However, the floor of the room creaks, and the conversations in the next room are clear. I was woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of the drunken neighbor coming back.
Although it has been renovated in recent years, it actually feels dirty overall. The basin in the bathroom is very shallow and small, so the water will splash onto the countertop when it is turned on. The bathroom has no heating, and the main feature is self-freezing.
As expected, the stairwell has the atmosphere of an old hotel, which is good for taking pictures. It is just opposite the station, and it feels easy to find for first-time visitors. In fact, Crowne Plaza is also 2 minutes away on the same side of the station. I don't know if it's good or not. Next time I come, I still want to try Indigo. I saw it when I walked by, and it's not far from the station.

We checked in and checked straight back out again after going into the room. The room was tiny definitely not suitable for more than 1 person. The "double" bed was pushed right up against a wall and wasn't much bigger than a single bed. Room was dusty all over. The bathroom was bigger than the actual room although you couldn't actually sit on the toilet properly as the sink cabinet was right next to the toilet. The room stank of food as I'm guessing was above the kitchen as the big fans were next to the window. Couldn't open the window as the smell of food was then even worse so the room stank like burger grease. Room was really hot as the radiator was turned on however couldn't turn it off and opening the window wasn't an option either. Reception area is really nicely presented but definitely not a reflection on the rooms which are poor to say the least. Ended up booking into a second hotel round the corner which is amazing complete opposite end of the scale in comparison to the first. Unfortunately meant we've ended up paying for 2 hotels just for 1 night but lesson learnt.

Comfortable and clean. It is a little small but clean and tidy. The heating is a little soft in winter and it is a little stuffy. It is very good to have a small fan. Old traditional Victorian style.
