Convenient location in city centre, the room was same as shown on the photos, spacious. Comfortable stay.

It's a good location- a nice walk down from Central Station to the hotel located just behind the Crown Courts, so handy for the Quayside. Check in was friendly and efficient. I was allocated Room 18 which is on the ground floor near reception. It's a typical Travelodge room so a good size with a comfy bed. The TV is a bit small for current standards. One bedside light did not work. There are no sockets or USB sockets near the bed to charge your phone. The bar and restaurant seemed good value for money although I didn't use them. As ever with Travelodge only half an hour free Wi-Fi even though I stayed 2 nights. My main negative point was the noise. This may not apply in other rooms but there was a constant noise sounding like chairs scraping lasting for hours. Guests coming back were often noisy and noise from people drinking on the Quayside was disturbing. For this reason I would not return or recommend. There are hotels nearby (including another Travelodge) that are quieter and offer better value.
