The New George Hotel

We didn't receive the instructions and codes before our arrival. If it wasn't for the manager of the pub, contacting the owner, I don't know what we would have done. But once sorted, it was a pleasant stay.

Need improvements

First of all, there’s no car park as showing on the website no reception you found your key in the box and you leave the key in the box when you check it out there’s no one to complain or to talk with Room really dirty

Perfect comforty homely feeling I stay here quite often and it's the first place I check, price is brilliant and it's just what I need. It's clean and tidy, also it's quiet specially where my hubby has work at 5am definitely will stay there again

Massive room, clean bed, beautiful new bathroom

Omg , for the love of god do not go to this hotel . 2 businesses in one downstairs bar and coffee place absolutely lovely jam bar it’s called . But the hotel part omg , room was fine but there health and safety is disgusting . Fire alarm went off 2 o clock in morning and stayed on for nearly 3 hours , got up with biggest fright headed to fire point stood there nearly an hour no staff police were on another incident no fire brigade it was hell . No fire 🔥 but after we got up after little sleep a guest said there was a disturbance in one of the other room and fire alarm was set off by guest . NO STAFF to assure u were ok nothing if there was fire god help u , got thru to person running hotel was told he was investigating what happened clearly didn’t know . Asked for a refund and has now stopped answering phone , think changed number . Won’t be back and wouldn’t feel safe Customer relation terrible
