Osborne Hotel

This was a last-minute booking for my daughter and me. It was all clean and great for an overnight stay. Beds are comfy, so good night sleep. Breakfast had a GF option and was all tasty.

It was a nice stay with good hospitality.Hoping to visit there again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND A STAY AT THE OSBORNE HOTEL Our family have just spent a wonderful 5 days at the Osborne Hotel whilst attending our daughters Graduation. Whilst this hotel might have a 2 star rating, the customer service and welcome you receive from everyone at the Osborne deserves a 5! We have never stayed anywhere with such a warm and welcoming staff. From the moment you step into Reception nothing is too much trouble, so a massive thank you to Kiran, Sharon (especially gifted with her unique sense of humour), Laura, Shaz, Tanya, Debbie, Helen and the lovely Joe for your genuine hospitality and not forgetting that Geordie sense of humour! We found the hotel to be very clean, comfortable and spacious and definitely great value for money. The breakfasts are delicious with a great choice from cereals to full English and as the breakfasts are cooked to order they are piping hot when they arrive at your table. The Osborne is in an excellent location with a bus stop right outside the front door. Just a few minutes by bus and you will be in the city centre. Or if you prefer you have the choice of two metro stations nearby and the Jesmond Dene just a short walk away for those wanting a bit of peace and tranquility! We have stayed at the Osborne for the past 4 years now and have to say other hotels in the area just don’t compare - definitely our favourite and definitely one we will be visiting again.

Four debonaire and very good looking Irish men had the wonderful experience of enjoying the delights of the Osborne and The Toon for four nights . The quality and standards with respect of physical comfort, cleanliness, value for monrey, and breakfasts we found to be exemplary. We would like to make special mention re; the quality of the breakfast staff. Noting was too much trouble , and their Geordie self deprecating humour bightened up our otherwise early morning dishevelled demeanor 😉 . They are a credit to their city , and should definitely be in line for some kind of municipal award and at least a 25% increase in salary. We couldn't recommend it more highly. Don't stay anywhere else. Much appreciated. We'll be back.

We had a 2 night stay here over the weekend. Great welcome, a couple of problems arose during our stay. Firstly the room I was allocated had not been cleaned when I entered but this was dealt with swiftly & I was offered an alternative room immediately. Secondly my kettle stopped working on the second night but the guy on reception was great & found me another & brought it to my room. Breakfast was cooked to order & very nice. Bedding & towels were nice & clean, hotel overall seemed fairly clean. All staff friendly & approachable apart from Sharon at breakfast on Sunday morning…..maybe having a bad day but her whole manner taking orders & dealing with breakfast orders that morning was a slightly uncomfortable experience. A smile and a few warm words costs nothing but can make all the difference! I would stay here again as great value for money .
