I had a great stay in Premier Inn hotels as always. The mattresses are ones of the best I've ever tried. I am particularly grateful I have met Carlos, one of the breakfast cooks. He's a lovely person and he's been very helpful throughout my stay. Thank you!!

Good value family room. Service at breakfast was outstanding, and the food was great. A special thanks to Carlos the chef who was amazing! Really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. No on site parking which is only downside to this hotel.

Room was clean, the bed so comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was such a good choice for breakfast and delicious. Only thing was a bit dark when got out of lift on 4th floor. Wish they had walk in showers and not shower over bath as have arthritis and found it difficult.

Well located close to town centre and underground parking just up the road for £5 overnight, so a good spot and has everything you would expect from this chain. I have stayed several times and generally had delays/issues at check in but this time it all went smoothly for both rooms booked under different names on the same booking (which in the past has been a challenge.) The only issue was the shower (Room 404) which had a bodged repair so that the shower head was at about shoulder height and would extend no higher due to the way it was fitted on the riser. Other than that OK and good value at £52.

We stayed for one night. Very warm welcome from staff. Helpful and kind. We had our evening meal at the hotel. Delicious food and good value. (The special offer with evening meal and breakfast). Special mention for Amma and Sheena( front of house)and Tony the chef. In the morning a breakfast buffet. Plenty to choose from. Especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt. Again very pleasant staff on duty. So thank you for a great stay. We hope to come again.

Despite arriving early, some of our group were able to check in early and we could dump bags in their room. When we came to check in later, we used the machines which were surprisingly easy and efficient. Our room was very comfortable, clean and everything was working. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which filled a late night hunger.

I've stayed elsewhere in Newbury and each time I had issues. This is the first place I stayed where I was happy and comfortable without having to sort anything out. I will be staying here everytime from now on
