The Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel is a modern and conveniently located property, ideal for travelers exploring Brooklyn or commuting to Manhattan. Situated near downtown Brooklyn, it offers easy access to attractions like the Brooklyn Bridge, Barclays Center, and a variety of restaurants and shops.
Guests often praise the comfortable rooms, featuring Sheraton’s signature bedding, modern decor, and useful amenities like free Wi-Fi for Marriott Bonvoy members. The rooftop bar and lounge are a highlight, offering great views of the city. The fitness center and on-site dining options are also well-received.
Some guests note that the surrounding area can be busy and may lack the charm of other Brooklyn neighborhoods. Additionally, parking can be a challenge, and a few reviews mention occasional service delays. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a comfortable stay with easy access to both Brooklyn and Manhattan.
It's a very comfortable and spacious room. There are basically no shortcomings. The security service at the door is very good. You can't enter without a key card. It's a great experience.
Overall the hotel was nice. Aesthetically the lobby, market area and courtyard were amazing & nicely designed. Would been nice if we were able to get a double bed but they were sold out. Also room service was a little slow on bringing items to the room that we requested. Overall the stay was great and location was superb for our needs. I’d definitely stay there again!
I booked the wrong address. I originally lived in Manhattan, but I booked the wrong place to go to Brooklyn. It was my own fault, not the hotel. But the location is a bit remote, not very convenient, and the price/performance ratio is not high.
The room design is very unique, the room size is also very good, clean, bright, and generally very comfortable. The location is also very good, 15 minutes walk from the stadium, there are shopping malls, supermarkets, etc. nearby, the surrounding environment is also very safe, very close to the subway station, about 2 minutes walk. The bar downstairs is very unique, very lively on weekend nights!
Great location, trendy new hotel. Loved the free ‘grab and go’ breakfast. Rooms are very small with very few places to put anything even with the sink in the bedroom. I’d say better for couples or solo travellers than families.

Nice place. Deep south Manhattan. About 5 minute walk from Staten Island ferry but very far removed from any other big event unless you want to hop on a train.
Enough room for a bed, two bodies and not much else. Has window but just a view of the building next to it. Room was able to stay cool, it let's you set your own temperature for about 2 hours then it resets to default which is a little toasty, especially in hotter weather. Elevator is the fastest elevator I've ever riden in. Maybe 4 or 5 seconds to get from bottom to top if you get a straight shot.
Biggest problem is the TV and it's services. You need to scan a QR code to use your phone as a remote and only when you're connected to the hotel wifi and it's very finicky. It also tells you that you can use chrome cast or airplay by scanning another qr code and just using a streaming service off your phone. This does not work. And I had to talk to 3 service people to figure out it just would not work. All of them were as helpful as they could be, just didn't know what was going on. Then I got lucky and caught someone who knew and they said it's an upgrade in the entire hotel chain system, not even that specific hotel. So until they finish it on their end then update that hotel casting to the TV isn't possible and isn't stated anywhere that it's broken. And no time frame when it will ever be back. So your only option using the TV is cable TV with your phone as the remote.

KKitrynThis hotel is immaculate and absolutely everybody is above and beyond pleasant. Though not directly affiliated with the hotel, Inexpensive, super clean and very easily accessible parking is a two minute walk away at 25 Kent St. We paid $64 for 2 1/2 days of parking. The room was incredible. Exposed brick walls with super high ceilings, the bathroom had a huge tub and a wonderful shower. Pro tip: if traveling with someone that you do not want to see you naked, understand that it is not a one-way mirror over the bar and you absolutely CAN see into the shower While someone is showering. Luckily I was with my daughter, so this was not a real issue. The restaurant within the hotel and the Ramen place directly next-door are both wonderful. I did not make it to the rooftop bar this time but since I absolutely will stay at this hotel every time I come to visit I will check it out next time! The room was extremely quiet, temperature was easy to control. Now, a little too much honesty, I am an extremely “sensitive” person, and resting and hearing so much from the second I stepped into this hotel. I was never scared, as I definitely don’t typically get scared, but I had numerous very genuine and very obvious things happen while I say that this hotel, such as seeing things walk across the hall in both my room and the hallway, in the main lobby bathroom someone walked into the bathroom and into the stall next to me, but never left, and when I looked, there was no one there, and I was in the shower. I could hear several men talking to each other as if they were right next to me. I was definitely not hearing people from another room. I also heard the door to the stair well open, which is right next to our room and I was right next to the door so when I looked, there was nobody there and I pulled it shut again. Just out of curiosity, as to what was there prior to the hotel, on the way home my daughter looked up the history to the hotel. Let’s just say it was very enlightening as to why i was experiencing so much activity in this hotel, especially on the third floor next to what I will assume would have been a fire escape at some point. It also may explain why the first thing that went through my mind when I opened the front door of the hotel and turned to my daughter and said “I’m surprised the hotel gets away with door opening inward. It goes against fire code. Anyway, You can look up the history yourself and understand all that I have said. :-) either way, a spectacular hotel at a decent price and a very safe and beautiful part of the city. I will definitely stay here again!

GGuest Userit was awesome to have a full kitchen in the US!
my suggestion to the hotel woul be thicker curtains to properly block the cold from the outside, heating electricity is expensive! and given how large the bathroom is, a bathtub would have been great.
