New York Manhattan Hotels

Pod Times Square is perfect if you are solo, great location, room was basic but clean, cleaned every day, clean towels, hairdryer and tv. My view was of the Hudson River, what's not too like. Walking tours every day if you are interested. Bar facilities, including happy 2 hours and coffee, muffins etc available for breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay here and would come back. I stayed in a Queen room which slept two which was fine for me, just be aware if you are sharing as it is small but hey how long are you in your room in NYC.

Located in Time Square, few minutes walking to billboards. The room is good if you only have carry-on luggage, might have trouble with checked luggage. Changing clothes isn't that convenient, you either don't mind changing in front of your friend or your family. Can change in the toilet room or shower room.

Stayed here with wife and two daughters and had an amazing stay. Hotel is lovely and situated within walking distance of Wall St, World Trade Centre, and Staten Island Ferry/ Statue of Liberty. There are also lots of subway lines close by taking you anywhere across Manhattan, Brooklyn... I would 100% stay again

Excellent location, really good value for money. Right on Madison Ave, close to subway, and super convenient for sightseeing in Manhatten. Nice and friendly staff. They take a security deposit, I was told it would take 3-5 days to be returned to my account, but it was returned a few minutes after checkout. Hotel is located between a fortune teller and a juice bar.

The hotel is neat and clean. The atmosphere of the environment is nice. I would have visited so many places but it's so cold. it has free breakfast but no gym room. You can still take a stroll down the street if you want to exercise. I will stay here again if I visit NYC. There's no parking lot if you rent a car. It has street parking lot.

The hotel is acceptable, considered the price is relatively cheap among the other hotels in manhattan. But no coffee and tea bag, nor kettle are provided.

This is not a normal hotel, but it really is great, you have everything you need, is clean, beds and pillows are comfy, it is a small room though but is all you need if you are looking for a good place to sleep while you are in NY and it has great location, 5 min walking to central park or 20 min walking to time square. Absolutely love it.

Check-in on your own using one of the check-in machines when you enter the hotel. 10 mins walk to Port Authority Bus Terminal and 15 mins to Times Square. Cosy and comfortable room, was kept clean by housekeeping daily. Loved the bed as you can adjust it up and down.

The thumbnail of this hotel was slightly misleading, I expected the room to be more spacious than it is. I was dissatisfied with the lack of amenities, they did not have anything apart from the toilet paper and some plastic cups, not even a normal ceramic cup. For a four star hotel that takes on the name of “The New Yorker” in on of the most busy areas of New York it does unfortunately reflect the scarcity of space. Yet this should not be an excuse for the aged furniture and the outdated television the size of a laptop. Lastly🙆

I’m glad I found Pod 39 because it’s so near the Grand Central Station with an affordable price, though the room not big but just the right small size like me. The cleaner done their job well and and the rooftop bar is pretty and great skyline view especially at night. The staffs were friendly and helpful too. And best thing is they provide free walking tour at all Pod branch every twice per week and free coffee each morning. There’s eateries and shops nearby too. 😊
