This place has gone to sh*t. How you take something like this building and let it go down the drain I don't know . I don't know what they factor when hiring staff but that's not in their favor either. The place is a burden to the neighborhood and just a general pain in the ass.

Great location. 6 blocks from Times Square. 2 blocks from Central Park. 1 block from Carnegie Hall. Old hotel Modestly renovated. Close to theatre district. We choose to stay at the Wellington because it is affordable and was in walking distance to everything in Manhattan. Across the street is a fabulous coffee shop… The hotel is pretty old… The elevators are small… The rooms are modest… But it all works… The sound of the Cavs blowing their horns… And occasional siren… Just a noise of the city… All of those things bring good contacts and texture to the cultural experience of visiting New York City…
