Because of renovations nearby, one of the doors was not open, making it difficult to find. The hygiene is quite good, but the pillows smell. The bathroom is quite clean. The front desk staff are very warm and thoughtful, chatting and laughing. The hotel is quite literary and artistic, but the books in the room are too political. I thought that if you like Jane Austen, the boss would have more books about her, but he didn't.

Well-equipped, spotless hotel in a prime central location – truly lovely. Exceptionally friendly staff, good restaurant, great rooftop bar. Even smaller rooms were very well designed. Nice Reading Room with coffee, water, and fruits.

We had the most magical stay at Library! That snack room was life changing--the staff was so kind and helpful! Very very clean rooms, we wish we were there for longer because the book selection is vast and it would be a great spot to relax. Fantastic location, cannot recommend it enough! We will be back! Shoutout to the doorman from Hungary (forget his name but he was so sweet!) and also all the receptionists were just great!

The Library Hotel in NYC was amazing! I really enjoyed my one-night stay there. The themed rooms are such a fun idea and if I had more time I would have explored the books in the other areas of the hotel. The room was clean and perfect for my short stay. The staff there were incredible, friendly, and knowledgeable. My only suggestions would be for more nut-free options for snacks in the reading room and a half-and-half option for the coffee. I can't wait to come back.

Lovely stay!! Old school hotel charm and warmth. Great personal service by a thoroughly professional and friendly and helpful staff. Our arrival and check-in was seamless. A very reasonable parking rate at a nearby parking garage was much appreciated too.

Clean, great location, friendly people. Easy access to subway and bus line. Fun library theme. We enjoyed the snack room and the roof top bar. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. It was a great place to stay!
