Hotel on Rivington

I was worried about the recent negative reviews, but my experience was fairly good. I think there’s a systemic problem between third-party booking sites like Trip.com and the hotel where the room you get assigned is not necessarily what you wanted. In our case we paid for a Deluxe King, in part for the standing shower in the website photos. The room we were assigned had a tub, and the front desk was accommodating in switching us to the room we wanted. Room was clean, showing some wear and age, but generally well appointed (although the art is weird). Location is good around the corner from a subway stop. WiFi was alright in the room, but the 2nd floor lobby was fast and not a bad place to do some remote work.

Amazing service! I travel frequently and this hotel may have the best front desk staff I have ever encountered. Special recognition to Andy, who had great local recommendations for coffee - highly recommend Caffe Vita; shoutout to Andrew, who was personable and friendly and took time to chat with me; and Dery, who I encountered my last night and was funny and helpful. Just a truly great team who made me feel welcome and addressed everything I needed for my stay and more!

I just stayed at the Hotel on Rivington for three nights. All I could say is my experience was beyond comparable. I am in the Travel business for over 25 years and I am constantly in and out of hotels, high-end, mid-level, economy, luxury, etc. all of them this Hotel is a True Gem ! It’s located in the best area. I felt totally safe as a woman traveling alone. Everyone was kind and helpful. The front desk staff was beyond attentive. The bedding was perfect. The pillow was not too hard not too thick. The views outside my window were truly quintessential New York City. The front desk was truly incredible. They were texting me updates on a regular basis of anything I needed Allison C and her team really make it happen! if you have any reason to stay in New York for business , for pleasure, for a family reunion, for a girls weekend, for a wedding room block, do yourself a favor and stay at hotel on Rivington. You won’t be disappointed.

Had a great time at the Hotel on Rivington. Was only there for 1 night on business but the beds are super comfortable and the floor to ceiling windows gave a beautiful view of the city. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful as well!

The view from the 14th floor was absolutely stunning. The staff were so kind, every time when you come you get a very nice welcome . The bed was very very comfy and the room was very clean and you’re able to get housekeeping done every day. Great location, very accessible to all Manhattan. Subway station very close.Overall it’s absolutely fantastic
