A True NYC Gem The Chelsean made our concert getaway from Canada unforgettable. It has that rare mix of modern style and warm hospitality — the kind that makes you feel like more than just another guest. Every detail, from the crisp linens to the thoughtful touches in the room, felt intentional. It’s in a fantastic spot too, close to everything but still quiet when you need to unwind. We’re already planning our next visit!

My wife and I just finished our fourth visit to the Chelsean. We get to the city once or twice a year and discovered rhe hotel when we decided to explore the Chelsea neighborhood. We give it five circles not because it is a 5 star place, but for exactly what it is. Rooms are affordable, small but clean, with an ethernet hard line in every room we've stayed in. Views from high rooms are spectacular. The hotel attracts an international clientele; you meet the most interesting people. The Rose club downstairs brings a barrage of entertaining 20 somethings every evening. Above all is the staff and location. We see the same faces every trip. They all appear to enjoy working there, friendly, helpful, smiling, nice New Yorkers. Chelsea, a wonderfully cool and eclectic neighborhood, is now our place to stay and explore. The Chelsean is our home in NYC for the foreseeable future
