Casablanca Hotel by Library Hotel Collection

Wonderful hotel in the heart of NY. Staff were very helpful before and during our stay. We arrived early and were able to access our room,which was also upgraded. Great breakfast as well. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights, and my son and his family stayed for 1 night, and we were all very pleased. We loved the theme of the hotel, and our rooms were lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. Since it was our anniversary, we were gifted a bottle of wine. The location of the Casablanca is tourist central. For those who like the buzz of Times Square, it's perfect...... very convenient to the theaters. No matter what, even though you're in the midst of everything, once you're in the hotel, you feel peace and relaxation. Speaking of relaxation, Rick's Cafe (the 2nd floor lounge) is a perfect place to hang out and enjoy refreshments throughout the day. For those who have a car, parking in the very nearby parking lot is very convenient, and guests of the Casablanca are entitled to a special rate of $30 for 24 hours. Finally, I can't say enough about the staff of this fabulous hotel. Everyone was attentive and welcoming. We were always greeted with a smile. I highly recommend the Casablanca to anyone who appreciates a boutique hotel in a central location. We had a perfect stay and look forward to returning.

Brian and team are awesome. The breakfast team as well. (please note that the attendants will toast your bagel, prepare your espresso for you, and check on you as you're eating) Housekeeping was flawless. Our favorite hotel in NYC! Have stayed here many times and continue to come back.

Hotel staff were all exceptional! Very informative, happy, and very protective of the guests. I witnessed 2 separate incidents of random people wanting in to 'just look around' and use the restroom. Front desk staff were courteous, but very blunt. I really appreciated that and felt very safe.

The staff made our stay very welcoming. Top notch service! Decor gave you an old school Italian mob feel. We loved the 2nd Fl lobby and all the treats set up there. Very comfortable and welcoming. They have a piano there you can play as well! The whole facility is very dark however. Kind of a depressing feeling after staying a few days. Halls and inside our room, it was hard to see even with lights fully on and drapes open. (Posted class D for energy efficiency rating.) Bathroom sink and shower had a difficult time draining...leaving both looking filthy with each use. Tiny elevators! Parking was easy, as they help you to the lot right next door. Keep your kids close when you leave this hotel. Riff Raff is right outside the door or around the corner most of the time. Although we had great service here...I'd likely pick a different hotel next time...not directly in Time Square, one that is lit up better with working drains. All is all we had a great experience here...it just didn't check off all our boxes.
