I asked him for a deposit receipt, and he told me that the deposit was non-refundable and he wouldn't give me a receipt. We felt that this was unreasonable. Since it was a deposit, I didn't damage the room items, and I didn't consume the hotel's charges, so the deposit should be returned to me, otherwise it wouldn't be a deposit. When we discussed with him, he also claimed that he would cancel our eligibility to stay. At that time, we were exhausted, and we were unfamiliar with the place, so we had to compromise and stay first. Our $100 deposit was swallowed up inexplicably, which was too weird... I hope Ctrip can seek justice for us and let Chinese people travel in the United States easily and happily...

The hotel is located in a great location, just a 3-minute walk from Flushing Ave. Station. After taking the AirTrain ($8.50) from JFK Airport, which travels through the terminal, I transferred to the subway J ($2.90) and arrived at the nearest station (Flushing Ave. Station) in a total of 20 stops (about an hour), but even walking with a suitcase was quite a comfortable journey. It takes less than 30 minutes by subway from Flushing Ave. Station to Manhattan Times Square! The subway costs $2.90 per ride no matter where you go, and currently there is no need to purchase a MetroCard, and you can pay by touching your credit card at the ticket gate. There is a great coffee shop called SEY COFFEE, which is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, and I went there every day. Milly’s Pizza, which is also a 5-minute walk away, is also very filling and affordable, and has a variety of salads, so I highly recommend it. I also often went to the supermarket, which is a 3-minute walk away, to buy a gallon of water, drinks, cut fruit, etc. This is an added bonus, but the strawberries sold on the street in front of Mr.KIWI, a 10-minute walk away, were $2 a pack (cash only, 2 packs for $3), and they were very sweet and delicious. My room was on the 7th floor, and there were a lot of bugs. I exterminated 3 of them, but they still came out, so I gave up and chose to live with them. After 9 p.m., the area around the hotel was noisy with sounds like firecrackers, police cars, music from cars and motorcycles, mufflers, etc., so it was not an environment where I could sleep comfortably at night. It is bright in the summer, but considering the security situation in the area, it is better to return to the hotel by 8 p.m. at the latest. The hotel's housekeeping cleans and changes towels every day. Most of the housekeeping staff speak Spanish, but they are all very nice, and when they couldn't understand English at all, I was able to communicate without any problems by using a translation app.
