The hotel is located in Chinatown in Lower Manhattan, with many Chinese restaurants nearby. Next to the hotel is HSBC and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. It is about 7-10 minutes' walk from the subway entrance. Dining and travel are convenient.
The facilities are equivalent to the Hanting Super 8 in the mainland. If you have high requirements for hotel facilities and breakfast, it is not recommended to stay. I checked in in early February. The room was too cold. The air conditioner was turned on for 4 hours and it was only 9℃. There was a floor heating switch, but it didn't respond. The bathroom and toilet were even colder. There was only a shower curtain for the shower, no water barrier. After the shower, you can't stand in front of the washbasin. Those who understand will understand. On the second day of the stay, my family may have caught a cold from the cold, but it was just a runny nose, but it was not serious. The humming sound of the indoor air conditioner was too loud, so I had to endure it for warmth. Breakfast was at the rooftop bar, with bread, eggs, chicken sausage, juice, coffee, and hot water. The platform outside the bar overlooked the distant view of Manhattan.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel 50! Conveniently located in Chinatown, it’s perfect for enjoying affordable and delicious Chinese food. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, and the check-in process was seamless. Our corner room on the 6th floor was spacious, clean, and comfortable with stunning views. The rooftop was nice, though smaller than it looked in photos. We’d definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!
