This hotel is very unique: 1) Location, located on Roosevelt Island on the East River that flows through New York City, across the river from Manhattan and Queens. Looking out from my window on the 12th floor, I can see the United Nations headquarters building on the right, standing on the East River as the sun sets. The skyline of State Island is clearly visible in the distance in front of me, Queens is behind me on the left, and Brooklyn is in front of me on the left. The scenery is beautiful and the environment is quiet. 2) Convenient transportation, less than ten minutes walk to the Roosevelt Island Station of the subway line F. It is easy to take a taxi, 30-50 minutes from the airport (about $50); 3) The hotel focuses on history and cultural atmosphere, and the scenic restaurant on the 18th floor is a must.
