Not worth the money, location wise okay but not sound proof, too expensive for small and this kind of room. Amenities were so so, no drinking water, Heater was minimal

Upon arrival, we were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel, but unfortunately, the bags were not tagged or labelled in any way to identify them as ours. They were also left in the hallway, which didn’t feel secure, as anyone passing by could have claimed the bags as their own.
The room was reasonably clean, but there were a few issues. The TV had no available channels, making it unusable, and the shower drain was clogged with a disgusting amount of hair, which was quite unpleasant.
When I attempted to pay for the room in cash, the hotel reception informed me that the payment had already been charged to my credit card, despite this not being agreed upon. The listing on Trip had clearly stated there was an option to pay at the hotel, which wasn’t honoured. If the hotel had no intention of accepting cash payments, it should not have been advertised. Trip confirmed that it was supposed to be a pre-authorization only. I used a British Amex card for the booking, which led to additional fees (around £5). While it wasn’t worth arguing further over just £5, this still shouldn’t have happened. After arguing with the hotel reception and making multiple calls to Trip, I was told the payment couldn’t be switched to another card once it had been processed.

Just s..t...upgrade!,third time in nyc..this time i went cheap... regret it everyday..do yourself a favour, enjoy nyc..dont mess with this hotel...i will upgrade for service and security

The Midtown West Hotel is a very good hotel for a quick getaway into the city. Its location, a block from MSG, Moynihan Train Hall, and Penn Station is ideal to get around the city and outside of it. The hotel has no elevator. I was given a room on the 2nd Fl. The room is small with a twin bed, a little table, a nightstand table, the headboard has shelves to place clothing, and other personal stuff. A wall TV with its remote and AC with remote. A small private bathroom with basic toiletries. The walk-in shower is a little square with a good flow of water, and it would be better if, instead of hanging the curtain on a straight rod, they used a curved one. It gives more space, so the curtain doesn't stick to the person showering. The room was clean (the hotel personnel were cleaning it as I arrived). There was no daily room cleaning. Many hotels, even much better ones, are doing this practice now. I guess to save money. For a quick getaway, II will book again.

Hôtel parfait pour une nuit, nous avons eu une grande chambre propre avec deux lits. Nous devions prendre le flix bus le lendemain matin pour Washington . L’arrêt était juste derrière l’hôtel. La chambre était sommaire. Même si la chambre était au niveau de la rue, fatiguées de notre vol et avec des boules quies, nous avons dormi comme des bébés ! L’accueil était…complètement impersonnel…a peine un bonjour, mais pour une nuit c’était nickel. Difficile de trouver une chambre pour deux à ce tarif la dans midtown( 130€ la nuit)
