I booked a deluxe twin room, but for the first time I was given a room in a corner. I don't know why such an expensive room is placed in such a place. After a strong complaint + tip, I was moved to a room with a wider front. Cleansing products were not replaced in time, and there was no kettle, but they were delivered if I called to request it, and of course the tip was indispensable. The sanitation and location were all good, and the price was also very expensive, which was still a gap compared to luxury hotels in Asia.

I have been staying at the Regency since I was a kid, and while the hotel has changed through the years, it never disappoints. At 61st and Park, it's the perfect location for shopping, theater, and restaurants. Most important, the staff is courteous, responsive, and thorough. The concierge team in particular is amazing in securing reservations at some of the most popular restaurants. We return every year, and I already am looking forward to returning.

I truly don't know how to thank this hotel and its employees for how special they were with my son and me. I arrived feeling sad because I'm coming from Florida and I didn't know what the reception would be like. From the moment the person at the check-in welcomed us, it felt special, kind, and very cordial. We felt like we were arriving where we were wanted. The room was 1007 from August 3 to 8. The cleanliness and every detail were impressive; the quality of service was outstanding. On the first day at breakfast, a Dominican lady gave us our table, and the person who attended us immediately made us feel comfortable and struck up a conversation. I feel that my vibe let them know I was a bit sad because I was there to drop off my son for a new stage at Pratt University. It was something every parent wants, but his father was missing and couldn’t see this dream of my son's come true.

A home away from home. Very warm and welcoming guest relations (Kennedy). A welcoming staff (Abdul at front desk is great). And a wonderful concierge, very eager to assist (Thank you Lubna). Also a wonderful location, a few steps from the hectic pace of mid-town, but in a quieter upscale residential section, and a three minute walk to Bloomingdales to the east, and Central Park to the west.
