Clean and very convenient

This is an old hotel under the InterContinental umbrella. The rooms are not big, but they are adequate. The location is very good, in the new town, near Independence Avenue, close to the century-old Pera Palace, and next to the Galata Tower. It is very convenient to get to the old town and the Golden Horn. It only takes 40 minutes to walk to popular attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Grand Bazaar. There are many restaurants downstairs, and the mussels at the restaurant opposite are delicious. There are many restaurants nearby, and we basically just walked to each restaurant for meals. The hotel provides breakfast, but we didn't have the experience as our room was not included. Special reminder: taking a taxi in Istanbul is a scam. Basically, the taxi does not use the meter and the price is quoted verbally.

I'd like to recommend the LIC Manhattan View Hotel in Long Island City to anyone looking for a more affordable place to stay in NYC. I had an excellent experience! - Location: two blocks from the subway, 500 meters from a market (KeyFood), a pub with snacks across the street, a pharmacy across the street, and it's on the street from Beija-flor (a Brazilian restaurant). - Room: very clean, comfortable, and with a very nice and spacious bathroom. It had a hairdryer and iron. There was no minibar in my room, but they leave a bucket for you to fill with ice (there are ice machines on the floors) for you to put the water they leave there free of charge every day. - Reception: they are very friendly and welcome outside purchases. - Lobby: has coffee, water, and those milk syrups, cups, disposable cutlery, disposable plates, microwave, refrigerators for snacks and drinks (these two are paid), and a water dispenser with ice-cold or hot water. - I made the reservation through ********** because of the ease of payment. I had no problems at all and they didn't charge any extra fees. When I arrived, they charged $150 on my card and refunded it at checkout.
