Residence Inn New York Manhattan/Midtown East

This was my 2nd stay at this property and it’s definitely one of the best choices in the Midtown area. My mom and I stayed 1 night and we were able to check in at around 12pm. The only room they had available was on the 2nd floor (I’m usually a higher floor person), but for this short visit I was okay with that especially since we were checking in early. The front desk staff have been wonderful during both of my stays, as well as the front door staff. Upon checking into the room we discovered that we had a balcony, which I didn’t even know was a possibility at this property so that was a nice surprise. During both of my stays, my Marriott status was acknowledged and we received bottles of water. I typically go to NYC for the weekend or one night stays and it’s always nice having a small kitchen, which is one of the selling points of this property. This hotel offers free breakfast, but if you’re looking for something different or need strong coffee like me, there’s a Starbucks right around the corner. During both of my stays, the room was very clean. There is some slight wear and tear on some furniture, but that’s to be expected at a Residence Inn Marriott property especially in NYC. I would definitely return for another stay while in NYC!
