O ponto forte do YMCA é sem dúvida a localização. Ao lado do Central Park e com 2 estações de metrô bem próximas. Comércio ótimo na redondeza assim como cinemas e o Lincoln Center.
O prédio é antigo e necessita modernização. Os quartos são pequenos mas cumprem a finalidade. ( os mais caros oferecem um pequeno frigobar). O ar refrigerado antigo, de janela é um pouco barulhento e a cortina não fechava. Não há limpeza dos quartos todos os dias. Já os banheiros são limpos 2 vezes por dia. O hóspede tem direito a utilizar o fitness center e piscina do YMCA. Funcionários competentes.

A very basic facility which you cannot ask for more. The furnishing is dated for rooms with shared toilets, the whole floor shares one male, one female and one mixed gender toilet. The male toilet has 3 showers, 3 urinals and 3 toilet bowls, which can get crowded at peak periods. The property is easily accessible from 59th ST / Columbus circle station.

The location and transportation are really great.
However, don't expect much from the facilities.
You should think of it as just a place to sleep.
The cold wind comes in through the broken windows.
There is no table or hanger.
There is one bed and one chair.

The location is very, very convenient, in the central area of Manhattan. It is very convenient to walk or take the subway to where you want to go. I didn't have any cash when I checked in, so the guy who checked me in later gave me $10 directly. I have to say there are a lot of genetic men in the United States. The picture is irrelevant.
